    i guess dont front counts as mmlp2 track. but its just such a long, soulless album to me. few solid stuff mixed in otherwise pop/unpleasantness.

    edit or i think tyler's critique of it is rly well said

    I already know @Donkey Kong Country loves SSLP but bring it on. I'm more curious about his honest thoughts on the individual songs on the later albums without cool bandwagon hating or stanning!

    @Captain Awesome AKA Papa kinda agree with your rankings and groupings.... Kanye from College Dropout to Yeezus was great, I can't really rank them in my opinion because my mood switches with Kanye's music, meaning it depends what I'm in the mood for. I rarely skip any Kanye songs when they come on my playlists from that era.

    Anyways, as far as Eminem, here's mine

    Tier 1- these are albums I really wouldn't change. Some songs I skip nowadays (like Kim, Drips,

    1. SSLP
    2. MMLP
    3. Eminem Show

    Tier 2- usually when I think of these albums, I just make my own tracklist and listen to them.

    4. MTBMB
    5. Kamikaze
    6. Relapse
    7. Recovery

    Tier 3- I hate them minus a couple songs.

    8. Encore
    9. MMLP2
    10. Revival

    I will say that Eminem during D12 Devil's Night was an absolute monster though. So many great verses by him in 2001.

    Soldiers last verse really makes the song I think the song is a classic but I can 100% understand where dkc was coming from when he said Em was trying too hard and taking himself too seriously. Em rapping about being a complete badass pistols whipping people etc when in reality he's not about that and would rather beef with moby and a puppet just isn't it lol. Imagine rapping the way Em did at certain points in this time period when you're around people like 50 cent.

    Why’s that? I’ve always liked relapse tho I prob downplayed it when I was younger cuz I didn’t wanna be crucified on studioleaks lol. Its major downfall is all the r--- stuff, it would be whatever if it was only one or two references cuz he’s playing a character but it’s hard for me to wanna listen to that as an adult
