    Felt like crap for the last few hours. Dizziness, nausea, light headed etc. But managed to eat some food and felt almost back to normal.

    Being discharged in 45mins! I'd say I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight but I can't as my mum is staying over to help me look after the kids for a couple of days so I've gotta sleep on the sofa bed. Ugh.

    Anyway, on topic, I'll prob skip having a beer tonight but I'm looking forward to my first pist-surgeey beer tomorrow! I'll be celebrating waking up after anesthetic!

    Awake and in the recovery room after op. Feel like I did when I was in my 20's again, lying in bed after a really heavy night out; just fighting the urge to be sick whilst the room is spinning and sweating. Not I never feeling but lucky to have no pain at the moment. Bit guess in drugged up to my eyeballs on pain killers.

    Yeah, your one sounds horrific. Mine will be nothing like yours (hopefully!). They don't need to rebuild anything, just "wash out the crap and shave a bit of bone off".

    I'm fine with local anesthetic but I've never had general anesthetic (the one that knocks you out). Surgery is at 3pm on Monday and I'll prob stay overnight so if there's any complications I'm on good hands.

    It's my last day of drinking for a couple of days. Got surgery on Monday so I'm not allowed any booze for 2 days before that. :emoji_slight_frown:

    I need to get away from my lager habit. I always said I drink beer because I enjoy finding new things. Now it's just seems I drink for the sale of drinking. Not good.

    And ale has less calories than lager so it should help with my weight loss focus.

    Case of Brewdog Punk IPA being delivered this evening.
