    I've walked 10k tonight trying to find places that sold Brooklyn Lager, or any type of beer brewed in New York so I can raise a proper beer for him. But no luck.

    Anyone from the SW? How is the beer/brewery scene in Texas? I'll be moving off the east coast in the coming weeks and excited to see what kind of new beers I can get my hands on.

    Yeah, I’m pretty confident that it will fix the issues. He went in only needing to do a few things but found a lot more things that needed work (unknown ligament separation, muscle tears).
    Recovery was great the first day. Then the next day the nerve block wore off and s--- got worse. Crazy pain, bad muscle spasms, and weird nerve issues going on (super cold to pins and needles really fast) with my shoulder and upper arm.

    They had to saw off bone, stitch ligaments back together, and cut part of my bicep and pectoral muscle.

    I live in Houston and we have the best breweries in the state. Saint Arnold, Karbach, Buffalo Bayou Brewing, 8th Wonder. What kind of beer do you like? I could pm you a list if you’d be interested.

    Nice. I'll be landing in Austin. I'm pretty sure i've heard of 8th wonder but the rest seem new to me. I'm into whatever really. Mainly been drinking easy drinkers like pale ales, blondes, creams, lagers, etc. But I always love a good IPA. I'm enjoying the new milkshake IPA trend some breweries around here have been doing. I started getting into stouts and porters lately too. Although, going into a hot summer I'll probably avoid anything darker until it starts to cool back down.

    Unfortunately I really havent found any sours or tart beers Ive been a fan of. I feel like they would be great for easy drinking but just can't get into them

    If you're looking at wheat beers Blue Moon is average AF. Allagash is better imo, but Hoegaarden is my favorite

    Idk it's def the best beer I've had for the price, I mostly only drink when I'm eating though so idk if that affects it.

    I know but was a little hungover yesterday and had to work. Got a brunch this afternoon though!

    So finished listening to depressing (yet amazing) Juice Wrld and Demi music, went to uplifting music

    Then I got sad again because its only april and I know the greatest feelgood song of 2021 is already cemented.... nobody gonna surpass this, makes all the problems go away
