Okay. 538 said Sanders would top out at 25% nationally. 538 said Trump would suspend his campaign by December. 538 said Jeb Bush would win due to his "endorsement primary" (wtf is that?), So you'll excuse me for being dismissive. Nate Silver this election cycle is like Eminem post-hiatus. Doesn't realize the world around him as changed, and that you can't do the same things that made you famous.





EDIT: It's a long, and unpredictable primary cycle. So let's just let it play out, 538. Wouldn't want to make anymore mistakes.

Those seem like logical assumptions 4+ months ago. Again, no one is claiming them to be 100% accurate. No one would have thought 7-8 months ago that Trump would still be here and the front-runner. Also, you're dismissing the fact that their model has been extremely accurate this election outside of Michigan which wasn't even their models fault. Their model is based off polling data they are given. Clearly, the polling data that they recieved in Michigan was very off and they wrote piece on why it was so off. It's math, it's stats. If you don't like numbers and facts, go read opinion pieces on Salon or something lol.
