I feel like you are sticking your head in the sand if you don't think a single payer healthcare system will be more cost-efficient. Despite overwhelming data that proves that it is.

Point (FACT): We spend 3/4x per capita on healthcare costs than universal healthcare countries do.
Counterpoint: "lalala, i can't hear you".

    Multiple analysis'. :').

Its a big world with a lot of insurance companies that have a lot to lose if this goes through, so I don't doubt that you have read "multiple analysis'". It should also be worth noting that you are probably referring to the analysis' performed by economists under the last Clinton administration that came out a few weeks ago. While I see a conflict of interest && you don't, that's fine. But forgive me for seeking alternate sources.

Pretty sad when you have to lean on the corrupt and record-high disapproval rating congress to deny the public of what they overwhelmingly want.
    Reconsider your priorities sir.

Really? They're dead silent on my timeline and I live in Bernie central (San Francisco).

She exceeded delegate targets in 3 out of the 5 states. It very well might go to the convention because of how the democrats run their primaries (delegates are given proportionally) but Hillary is running away with it at this point. It would take a catostrophic collapse or turn around for Bernie to win the nomination.

bernie exceeded projections today as well though, i've been following a chart which had him winning one state today which sets him on track for the nomination. s--- is grim for him, but he has a clear path going forward. of the 25 states remaining, he is favored in 21 of them. not saying it is surefire, but he still very much is in this. this was projected to be her biggest delegate lead (following the states today), and he was projected to chip away from here on out (if that happens is to be seen over the course of the next two months or so)

Well, more so just collective hate on Hillary and Trump than anything. Claiming the end of days is coming. The usual.

538 has Bernie underperforming in every state that voted today. Not to mention Hillary has pretty much secured her lead with African-American/Hispanic voters. She even won the white vote in a couple states today. There isn't a lot of recent polling for upcoming states so we'll see what happens. 1-5 percentage point victories do nothing for Bernie though. He needs big margin wins.

i agree with what you said. 538 does have bernie winning all four of the states next tuesday (Idaho, Alaska, Utah and Arizona) by over 10% in each primary. if he wants to win, he needs resounding wins next week in double digits

No sugar coating this one. Last night was unexpected and makes the gap almost too large to overcome. The map obviously turns to his favor now, and he will chip away at that lead. That was always the idea, as Fazers noted. But the goal was to keep the pledged delegate lead under 300-310. I don't know what it is now but I'm sure it's more than that... under performing last night might have made the gap too large. We will see. :dunno
