"I like Bernie, but he doesn't have a chance of winning"

Iowa is now solid proof that he does indeed have a chance of winning, so hopefully that will encourage every doubtful Bernie supporter to go out and vote.

    Every vote counts.

Actually there is a lot of blue missing. Some of the countries, which are gray on the map, have actually universal healthcare (even more than some blue ones). So in a sense there is actually even less countries without universal healthcare than the map shows.

Uhhh.... Iowa is one of the most demographic friendly states in the country for Bernie. The only one more friendlier is New Hampshire lol. What's going to be telling is how Bernie does in state like South Carolina and Nevada.

As a lot of people have already said, Bernie only appeals to the millennials in college that think he will give them everything for free. He would not be a good president. This election is such a crapshoot.

That's a huge misconception and stereotype of Bernie supporters.

There's more to it than what you think. You're only looking at things on a surface level.

I'm a college graduate and I'm paying off my debt each month. Thankfully I have a decent paying full time job that I love and it helps with my debt payments. But other people aren't as fortunate and get buried in bills, unable to recover. Or they are unable to even go to college in the first place because it's so much per year. That's s-----y as h--- and I feel for those people. It's too hard to get ahead. What Sanders wants when it comes to college is a level playing field. It will help those who want to pursue a degree a fair chance at furthering their education and in time it will help flourish the economy. More educated people = more prosperous economy in the long run.

Another reason I'm voting for him is I'm sick of corporations (they have a heavy hand in controlling elections) not paying their fair share of taxes like myself and eveyday Americans. They find loopholes and hide their money.

Bernie is truly for the peole and has the track record to prove it.

    I'm a millennial at college.
When I went out to hadn out flyers I was with old white men and old white women, and the club meeting at my school was filled with people from all ages and groups including the elderly, and not a single person thought he was going to "give them everything for free".
And I follow a lot of political media with adults out of college ho support Bernie and some of the best economists in the world support him, and when I look at facebook posts about Bernie I see a wide variety of people who support him.
    This is an idiotic generalization.

So you think that paying everyone else's debt along with your own is a good idea?

You also think businesses won't move their operations to countries like Ireland if we raise taxes on them even more?

What great ideas. The misconceptions of Bernie are that people think his policies will actually work, or ever be implemented for that matter.

The irony is that you used Ireland as an example.
Where there is universal healthcare and free college tuition. :')

Your point is s--- though. Corporations make a killing here. It's the only country that will allow them to dodge taxes while shipping jobs away.

GE is a great example. Just ONE out of a few hundred possible examples. From 2008 to 2013 GE received a tax refund of 2.9 billion dollars. In 2012 they stashed 108 billions dollars in an offshore tax haven to avoid paying income taxes. If they had claimed that money as income, they would owe us taxpayers 37.8 billion dollars. But instead they received that refund of 2.9 billion. That's an effective tax rate of -9%! They do this while leading the country in outsourcing jobs to Mexico and China. Yeah. Guess who picks up the slack on that one? Us Taxpayers.

Or Walmart. They're single handedly the biggest beneficiary for social assistance programs in this country. Our Gov't allows them to pay their employees starvation wages that will still require some form (or multiple forms) of government assistance to meet ends meet. At full time. Guess who picks up the slack on that one? Us Taxpayers. Again.

There are trade deals that can worked out, while not allowing s--- like that to happen. TPP, NAFTA are s---. The average taxpayer picks up the tab our bought-for gov't allows these guys to dodge. They want to move to another country? Okay, tax the importations. Whatever. US will still be the biggest consumer market in the would, we should use that to our advantage if they want to leave.

many also fail to see that even if these corporations begin to be taxed their fair share and they want to leave, where are they going to go? we are the biggest market in the world, they will lose even more money by leaving the american market
