yeah, the difference being Kendrick's been out wayyyyy longer than chance. not to mention kendrick is a signed artist and already released a solo album. plus, he's done dozens of dozens of features to kee his name in everyone's mouth.

The comparison wasn't even necessary tbh, artists like Chance and Gambino are on the peripherals of the rap game for a reason. He's got a lane.. but the lane isn't going anywhere meaningful, he'll just end up another Kid Cudi (at best).

No, and no.

Great way to over-dramatise what I was saying though. It's not about media attention, although there are good kinds of attention and bad kinds. It's about being in a certain lane, Chance is a hybrid of Gambino and Cudi, and it's the reason I'm not surprised how even people who claim to be fans never speak about him, since I joined.. this is the first time I've seen his name typed on the forum; it speaks volumes..
