    Forgot about Persona, that was very good; Blade of the Ronin and the Ecology were disappointing :emoji_slight_frown:

    I can't compare it to his other projects because ecology was my first fashawn album i've ever heard, but as far as I can recall it was a bit too corny at times

    Fashawn wasn't captivating at all this time, for me. His positivity was presented in a very bland way, something that I'd expect from J Cole. His flows were steady and the production was nice for the most part, but nothing else stood out imo.

    Lol english isn't my first language either

    Boy Meets World is much better man, very good album.

    He sounded like that on Boy Meets World too though. That album is better than The ecology of course (I consider Boy Meets World a borderline classic) but I still think Fashawn had a reasonably good performance on The Ecology. I'll have to listen again

    It's not really about how he sounds (voice/delivery and especially flows are similar from what I remember) but he overused some stuff and his preachiness was generic. Kinda like Red Pill on All Of Us; they talk about nice things, but who cares, it's basic thoughts that aren't new to me in any way. Fashawn has shown that he can do much better, I haven't listened to What this world did to us yet
