Its strange seeing so many people recomending the note 4. I hate to be 'that guy' but I remember when the first note came out, I got it, and people were saying what a r----- I was for having such a huge phone. Now everyones looking for that bigger screen lol.

The only thing that sucks about Samsung is touchwiz (not tried the S6s stripped back version though) it can lag and has far to much bloatwear pre-installed. You really want as close to stock android as possible.

Stock android is the the OS fresh out the Google factory (how Google intended android to be) Samsungs version of android (touchwiz) has been has been bogged down with usless features, maerial design changes and apps you'll never use yet can't uninstall.

Sure, with android, anything is possible :dew:

If you don't mind voiding you warranty you can install custom roms on mostly any android. i've done it with my galaxy note 1, thats running stock android atm.

Samsungs best designed phone to date imo, I wish they kept that look, not so keen on the S6 design

Ok, jailbreak in a way. That's some bs that u can't delete stock apps from your carrier without doing that, never had that issue on my windows phone. I will look most likely do the rooting, my phone in getting will already be mine fully so I'm gonna make sure they let me unlock, and I should have the option to restore to original firmware from the vendor if something goes wrong right?

Yeah mate, it's easy enough to just flash the original firmware back. XDA devlopers website is second to none for your custom roms, rooting tools and anything android for that matter :emoji_thumbsup:

So... got the note 4... Jesus Christmas am I lost with the layout! Windows phone for at leat 6 years and switch to this, I am almost lost, but slowly figuring it out. There are a lot of apps that aren't needed that are in this, and I've noticed the ram on the phone is basically all ate up except maybe a gig, and I don't have s--- open. The f--- is up with that?

So with alot of things I have read, there is no real way to root the note 4? Or at least it isn't worth it?
