Lokey gets a little repetitive quickly IMHO.

Dont get me wrong I admire his social awareness, and his message, but in terms of entertaining the listeners, he has a bit of a one demensional flow, and he can sometimes labour through a beat.

Agree, he's like the UK equivalent of Immortal technique, I get bored of that s--- after a while, I like diversity.

Devlin is still dope as f--- and up there, but he was one of the best youngens to ever do it imo, like under 18. His skill was mindblowing

Plan B. WNAWYGW has already been mentioned, The Defamation of Strickland Banks is a classic, and ill Manors is amazing too. Incredible artist.

Only good cd Devlin has made is The Art of Rolling. If we're talking in terms of who pushed the boundries and pushed the genre forward a h--- of a lot then of course Wiley, but he's always been a sub-par lyricist.

Skepta, JME = boring. I suppose Dot Rotten deserves a mention due to the combination of being a great producer/decent rapper. Ghetts has always had the sickest flow as an MC but lacks a great album, apart from maybe Freedom of Speech and Ghetto Gospel which are both good.

Nah, Kano's 'Home Sweet Home' is the better album 'pound for pound' track for track. Boy In Da Corner is only better in the eyes of pretentious critics due to the impact it had on the culture.

    Jehst. 1000% Jehst. Case closed.
He is arguably one of THE most underrated MCs ever let alone a British one.
He's made what pretty much the entire underground community regard as the British illmatic.
His production, delivery and lyrics are absolutely flawless, but I'll leave it up to you to see for yourself.
