Apr 13, 2015 yea i know, i quoted that line as a thread title...but 0/10 to me is a verse of fart noises
Apr 13, 2015 I´m the butt police, and I´m looking at your rear rear rear . That really came close to a 0/10 verse tbh
Apr 13, 2015 Woa... great investigation lol. Tbh his flow sucks my ears so hard and the screaming sound is annoying as f---. His verse is decent tho. But overall I like it. I'd bump it to next 2 days and then put it on my closet because there's nothing much to mark in my brain after listening this song. Nothing spectacular. I was overhyped with this song... Anyways, 8.5/10.[/QUOTE]
Apr 13, 2015 ^^ funny how ur trying to act like ur a smart member who knows what they're talking about lol. go watch some recordspins reviews ya bish
Apr 13, 2015 f--- you b----, I'll do spoilers if I need to. 1. Production is great, as it is throughout Yela's album. Every layer of the beat is beautiful and audibly present. Their voices are perfectly leveled and clear. 9.5/10 2. The part of the song that lacks is the delivery in this song. Yela does fine as he does throughout the rest of the album. So I'll give him a 10/10 for this song specifically. But for Em.. that's a much different story. I understand the theme and message he was trying to give throughout his verse. But he could done much much better. I mean "Talkin' to proof, droppin' a deuce". Honestly what is that s---. LITERALLY what is that s---. Like Em was trying to make some tribute to Proof for a few lines, one of his only official tributes, and he talks about shi--ing. This should've and could've been much better. Overall the delivery on Em's part gets 5/10. This averages to 7.5/10 3. The one place where Em seemingly shines. As evident from MMLP2 to now, Em is heavily focused on wordplay and lyrics over content. In ShadyXV he over-stuffs the tracks with words that don't have any context to the previous but simply rhyme. In Best Friend, he draw's back a little and adds some content (if you can call it that when comparing it to his old s---). While his rhymes are impressive and creative, they really take out of the song sometimes and makes it harder to enjoy, when almost every other word rhymes it sounds more like Dr. Seuss attempting to rap rather than Marshall Mathers. Overall in terms of enjoyment Em gets a 3/10 for this verse, HOWEVER, in terms of technical ability, I'll give him a 8.5/10. This averages out to 5.75/10 4. The flow.. what can I even say. He takes 2 flows which we're heavily criticized and mushes them together. Along with bringing back tHE RAISING OF HIS VOICE IN THE MIDDLE OF A SENTENCE, he brings back the choppiness found in songs such as "Our House" and "ShadyXV". The second part of his flow isn't bad in my opinion, its very similar to his "Detroit VS Everybody" flow which I enjoyed. First flow: 5/10 Second flow: 9/10 Average score: 7/10 Overall, this could be the point where I see Em as falling off. Depending on his performance in the upcoming "Speedom (WWC2)" I may choose to ignore his future music so I don`t tarnish his legacy in my opinion. Total average: 7.43/10. Not impressed by Em. Yela was good tho, I recommend the rest of his album.
Apr 13, 2015 I don't think thats got much to do with it mate. I'ts more to do with the fact that elgish is certainly not his mother tongue.
Apr 13, 2015 Ripped from Reddit Btw.. "As you would have heard, Eminem starts off with a choppy flow that he has been heavily criticised for (people said he had no one around to tell him that he needed to change it up). He then says "And ain't never been yes men, they gon' tell me when I'm f---in' up" and starts flowing like a god." -nromeo8 I just saw it as him doing whatever people didn't like and then basically showed all of his friends aren't yes men..
Apr 13, 2015 Can someone tell me what time of the song Em's verse starts? I don't want to accidentally listen to any Yela.
Apr 13, 2015 Anything over 4/10 is pure Stanning Heal wolf smoked Eminem, and badly. Pretty pathetic because Yelawolf is average on a good day
Apr 13, 2015 d---, not a good verse at all..Too many multis and s--- lines. I had low expectations and he didn't even meet them. I like the beat but that's about it.
