Alright is probably the song of the year and Kendrick is up there for rapper of the year, but you absolutely cannot deny Future's output and skyrocketing popularity this year. You're strawmanning by putting up Alright against a single that didn't even come out this year. That's far from the only thing to look at in terms of their relevancy, impact, and quality.
Jan 5, 2016 im not denying he didnt have an immensly popular year but i step in when people say Future has put out a better album than TPAB the impact of futures music? arguably his best song of 2015 was March Madness which was him high deciding about f---ing an ugly chick really?? like i get he has some mad brilliant songs, but for me comparing him against kendrick is weird, its like comparing fun bassy music to art
