May 8, 2016 I just don't care for Future or can get into him. Reason why I wasnt a fan of WATTBA. The first part of grammys was a track I could f---s with but that beat switch and Future just saying they gon think we won a grammy like 100 times just bores me.
May 8, 2016 IYRT would be the better first listen for me. Braggadocious Drake just going iiiiiiin. Views was switched back to his more earlier style. Now that I've got used to the change it's good. IYRT was consistent in his moving forward because NTWS was a transition from Take Care Drake to Braggadocious Drake. Now he's gone from Braggadocious Drake to Take Care Drake so it was a switch back. May 9, 2016 If You're Reading This is definitely the easier first listen. The lyrics are one dimensional and the beats are different from what Drake used to rap on. That being said, I enjoyed If You're Reading This more on my first listen. It starts off with five of Drake's best bangers. He came out firing. I think that accounts for a lot of the lukewarm response Views has received. Fans expected Drake to come out firing after IYRTITL, the Meek Mill beef, and WATTBA. I believe Views is definitely the better body of work, though.
