Mar 10, 2015 Great episode. I like the pace of the show. Right now there isn't any real urgency in the plot line like there was with Breaking Bad. It gives the writers some room to stretch their legs a little bit and focus on the characters.
Mar 10, 2015 Like I said in the past, Im kind of seeing shades of like Inherent Vice's qualities in this show. Just the aimlessness of the protagonist, and even how it's filmed at times. @swr i did cry fam.. and my roommate was watchin wit me so i had to play that s--- off like i was just high and act like the smoke was gettin in my eyes and shiiiit
Mar 10, 2015 I do think Ozymandias gets exaggeratedly singled out as the best episode, but the last 8 episodes are so close in quality it's splitting hairs.
Mar 10, 2015 I hate the fact they added in his granddaughter, they f----- it up..... anyone else feel the same? Other than that... wow. I was completely blown away, that episode really rivals alot of BB episodes, Jonathan Banks needs to win an award for that episode. He was simply amazing.
Mar 10, 2015 What they probably could have done is mention the granddaughter without showing her, but it's not that big of a deal She was around 11 during BB, so it's not too unrealistic if she was 4-5 in the episode because all we saw was her on the swings and in a sandpit Because if all of Breaking Bad took place in two years, then it ended in 2010. So we saw her in 2002 (BCS time) and then in 2009 (Breaking Bad)
Mar 10, 2015 I think this just adds to breaking bad, we are seeing the characters in a vulnerable state we never could of imagined.
Mar 11, 2015 Jonathan Banks finally got the spotlight he deserves with that episode. so well written, so well played...best episode of the season.
Mar 11, 2015 they had to add the granddaughter. she existed in BrBa, and.. Spoiler and with his son dying, she had to have already existed
