Aug 29, 2018 The whole rise of Gus is cool to see unfold. Any clue as to where we are on the timeline to where B.B. begins?
Aug 29, 2018 We've got to be really close to the beginning of Walter White since we've just seen Gale. The series is supposed to be 6 years prior to BB timeline start, so not sure if each season will be a year? But the creator said this about this season "We have a subplot that very squarely gets into Breaking Badt erritory and brings us into the world --- or at least points us on a path toward the world of Walter White and the territory of Walter White. I can't wait for folks to see that"
Aug 29, 2018 I wonder how they’re just gonna phase Kim out of the picture completely since Saul seems well off and happy-ish in B.B. I guess we have to be a little over/under a year out since Jimmy is still suspended from the BAR for 10 more months.
Aug 29, 2018 I think he's going to do something to f--- up her career more than he's already done and it will be the last straw and she'll leave him. They're already setting up her getting frustrated with him in general (therapist)...or she'll get killed because of some shady s--- he pulls
Aug 30, 2018 I just started a Breaking Bad rewatch, d--- that theme music brings back memories. I've gotta wonder how many seasons BCS is gonna last, though—and how much of his post-BB life they'll get into. So far we've only gotten all those season intro scenes that are clearly setting something up, but I also dunno if it would make too much sense to have too much post-BB content. I wonder if they'll have beginning-of-episode flash-forwards more frequently, or if they'll dedicate a full episode or two to it in the last season or something. The ending to BB is so great though I don't think I really wanna know anymore details about any non-Saul characters.
Sep 4, 2018 so... last night's intro was wild. i totally forgot fransesca was who kim/jimmy hired last season. it definitely feels now that they've exhausted chuck (so to speak), things are going to exacerlate quickly. (i read evidently the plan was to do this after s1.... its too bad, tbh, the legal intrigue stuff w hamlin & mcgill vastly better than the drug cartel fan service stuff. for a bit, BCS was a compelling show about regular guy who happened to be a lawyer and...... centered around corporate intrigue without ever descending into law & order style theatrics.)
Sep 4, 2018 I’ll take these secret m--- lab under the laundromat contractor interviews over boring Mesa verda paperwork all day.
Sep 4, 2018 Vince is too smart NOT to have the final season consist of Saul/Gene teaming up with Jesse in the future for one final mission. At what point do we consider BCS just Breaking Bad season 6-10? Combined, they're easily my favorite series.
Sep 7, 2018 The thing is we don't know how far in the future the Gene/Omaha situation actually is. Walt could absolutely be alive because he was in New Hampshire for months before he came back. There is a LOT they can do. Also this show is being handicapped by only having 10 episodes per. Add another 3-5 and seasons 3 and 4 would rival almost any season from Breaking Bad.
Sep 13, 2018 I'm honestly a big fan of both the Mike and the Saul storylines and seeing how they converge...obviously seeing how the laundromat gets built and stuff is huge fan service, but I'm in for it. Honestly, I kinda like the 10 episode format. The one thing I'm noticing during my BB rewatch is that the pacing gets a little bit offset...like the Tuco storyline bleeds into season two when those first three eps of season 2 really shoulda been in season 1 to wrap that up and make it 10 eps. Then I feel like there's a weird transitionary period in the middle of season 2 through the middle of season 3 where they're getting everything realigned, but once they do is when the real meat of the show starts. I'm only a few episodes into season 4 but g.d. it's godly. That first ep especially is amazing. Once I'm done with BB I think I'ma have to rewatch the first three seasons of BCS with it fresh in my mind.
