May 26, 2022yeah that's a possibility. I think the vacuum guy theory is more probable as they made it a point to show the card and for her to read it out loud. Could of also just been done to show how he gets him as a contact also though so who knows

Lalo obviously loses to Gus and dies somehow, just a matter of how lol. The Kim/vacuum guy theory is really interesting, I would very much like to see that. Not sure about Saul wanting to go back to his old life though lol. I see the indicators your basing it on, him trying to lawyer that guy getting arrested in the mall, just don’t see how that works logistically for his character.Ordinary Joel, Detroit24, Worm and 1 other person like this. -

Yeah the last two episodes have been slower but, I wouldn't call them weak or filler....yet. Gonna have to see the payoff from what they're setting up. I think we were just spoiled from how crazy the first two episodes were that now we're getting back into the regular rhythm of the show. Next episode will be a big indicator and I don't think Vince will drop the ball this far inDKC, Sign Language, The Mandalorian and 1 other person like this.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

This season has been good but if I'm being honest I'm pretty God Damnned let down. Too many loose ends to tie up and not nearly enough time. Those last two filler episodes really kind of f----- them.
And I was the idiot who predicted this season would be the greatest season out of ALL the BB seasons.J630, Worm, Ordinary Joel and 1 other person like this. -

There was a breaking bad marathon on a few weeks ago and I randomly was watching an episode with Saul talking about his 2nd ex wife cheating on him with his step dad. Had to google to see wtf that was about and found this
“I’ll tell you a tricky one,” Gilligan explained. “Off the top of my head, there was some casual reference Saul Goodman made way back in Breaking Bad about being married twice or three times or something like that. That one has bedeviled us for sure. It was just a goofy throwaway line in an episode of BB where Saul Goodman talked about his second wife or some such and that has bedeviled us. We’re trying to figure that one out. When did he have a wife? And who was the second wife? Who was his first wife? Blah blah blah. That was a tricky one.”
The specific line Gilligan is referencing comes from “Green Light,” the fourth episode of Breaking Bad’s third season. In that episode, Saul says to Walter White, “I caught my second wife screwing my stepdad. OK? It’s a cruel world, Walt. Grow up,” which, if we take him at face value, establishes that Saul has been married at least twice. Interestingly, the first wife was actually referenced in the Better Call Saul episode “Chicago Sunroof,” but there has yet to be any mention of a second wife, nor any reference to Jimmy McGill having a stepdad.
Some have speculated that Jimmy’s on-again, off-again love interest Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) is the second wife or that Saul Goodman was just exaggerating or outright lying to Walt in order to manipulate him. Whatever the case, the Better Call Saul’s writing woes from this seemingly throwaway line only further highlight how reconfirm the Gilligan’s previous comments regarding how difficult it is to do a prequel:
“Prequels are really d---ed hard to write. I thought they were going to be easy. I thought — Peter Gould and I — ah h---, it’s a prequel, we know where it all winds up, this will be easy. There’s so much we don’t have to make up. And we were deluding ourselves. Prequels are actually harder because the sky is not the limit. You can’t do anything and everything with the storytelling because there’s so much set in stone later.”

I have no idea how Jesse and Walter will come into play this season but most likely there has to be a timeskip involved at one point. Also the absence of Kim in Breaking Bad makes me worry about what's going to happen to herOrdinary Joel, J630, Worm and 1 other person like this.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Todd is none of those things. He just kills people and doesn't have a particular feeling about it one way or another and he doesn't do it to advance himself in the ranks of organized crime.

It would have been kind of interesting to get more of a look at how Walt functioned in society/with his family pre-Breaking Bad. Obviously wouldn’t warrant an entire spin off but even with just a few scenes in BCS.Ordinary Joel, asvdawg, DKC and 1 other person like this. -
