Pretty satisfied with the ending and think that’s what they was going for, a content ending. The typical theories or dramatised Endings would have definitely split the fanbase. I think they have this ‘ hmmm, ok, cool’ ending. Like someone said as well, it was good he identified his personalities and owned them. Kim’s arc was set up for a series of her own though one day in the future, which I’m not a fan of. I think it would have been better if she had a tragic ending than how her arc finished but overall this series has been amazing and sad it has ended.Ordinary Joel, Mothrfckr, Reed Richards and 3 others like this. -

I thought the first 75% of the ep was great, but def a little bummed by the remaining 25%.
Show was always about these two conflicting identities inside him until he let Saul completely corrupt and overtake him during breaking bad era. And I like the implication that he accepted that these identities weren't distinct identities and more just two pieces of himself that were always part of him and it's up to him to keep them in balance.
So I like the sentiment of the ending in theory where he takes responsibility for Saul — but it was executed in a pretty cheesy way. Def disappointing.
Penultimate episode was still fantastic tho as was the majority of the seasonLast edited: Aug 16, 2022Ordinary Joel, Mothrfckr, Slappy and 3 others like this.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

It just really emphasizes how long and dragged out each of their lives must have felt since they've started their new lives.Chrollo, Ordinary Joel, Yeez and 3 others like this. -

RE this season being underwhelming
I definitely agree but their hands are also so tied. Let’s be honest, Mike and the cartel stuff carried probably more than half of this show and while Nacho’s ending was great, they obviously couldn’t give us a conclusion to Mike and Gus. Comparatively and compared to Walt and even Jesse, Saul’s stakes just seem so much lower. Even though we’ve gone so in depth with his character it’s impossible for the end of his arc to hold up against Walt’s and the ending of BB. Still hoping the finale is great but gotta take it for what it is I guess.Raziel, Chrollo, Ordinary Joel and 3 others like this. -

Legit, the scene of Kim’s breakdown on the bus is one of my favourites between the two shows. So goodSign Language, Mothrfckr, Ordinary Joel and 3 others like this. -

Also this Jesse cameo was great. Felt like it actually connected and expanded upon the BB universe even tho he looks 40 years old lmao. Nothing major, but it felt natural and was cool fan service without feeling forced.
I assumed the cameos were all gonna be pure fan service and not add anything like the first one, but the Jesse one gives me hope for the Walter one coming in the last episode.Mothrfckr, Ordinary Joel, The Mandalorian and 3 others like this. -

Loved this week's episode — one of those suspenseful slow burns this show is so good at. Florida Kim's life is the bleakest s--- I've ever seen lol.
Biggest thing that bummed me out about this half of the season is how anti-climactic Lalo's death was. I mean I knew he was gonna die, but it sucks that we knew exactly how the showdown between him and Gus was gonna go. Both are such great villains.
I was also thinking — I know with Star Wars some people watch them in the order 4, 5, 2, 3, 6 so narratively it preserves the reveal that Darth Vader is Luke's father and then 2/3 are a flashback that explains Vader's backstory (and you skip 1 cuz it sucks).
I wonder if there'd be some order you could arrange all the BB/BCS episodes that would preserve the Lalo vs. Gus showdown, if that makes sense? Not that it rly matters cuz we already know what happens, but I'm sure someone online will come up with some crazy order to watch like that lol.Mothrfckr, Ordinary Joel, The Mandalorian and 3 others like this. -

Yeah I think jail makes the most sense. None of the 3 of them have gone to jail, feels like someone probably should lol. Saul would be the best fit to, it’s the most ironic given that his career is preventing people from going to jail. His life isn’t in danger from anyone so I’m not sure how he would die. Walt dead, Jesse happy ending, Saul jail makes sense.CARNIFEX, Ordinary Joel, DKC and 3 others like this.
