Aug 2, 2022he's too sloppy for it to not be jail the more I think about it. I don't see him dying he would give up before that
They made it a point in the episode to show two different people telling him not to get into business with two different guys with cancer and he disregards it. It didn't end well the first time

Rewatched El Camino and even more down
on it, than I was before on it. Ending was good but rest of it really does fall flat. Fat Todd and Jesse putting a load of weight on, also really takes me out of it. Least be in shape from the previous roles that take straight after BB, pretty lazy on their part for who I both consider good actors.. Especially Jesse as at least you can meme Todd and is a side character. I think a short movie/episode would have done Jesses conclusion much more better.Last edited: Jul 28, 2022Ordinary Joel, M Solo, M.I.C. and 3 others like this. -

Then they flipped the script in this episode, he is still Saul, he turned Jeff from a threat into someone he has complete control over with ease. He has likely still been running Slippin’ Jimmy scams like he was in this episode, in the Gene timeline too.
The talk where he was exaggerating crying with the security guard was supposed to be revealing too. He really doesn’t have anyone left in his life and is scarred from it to the point of numbness. He really has nothing to lose anymore since he has already lost everything and that is what birthed Saul at the end of the previous episode, so why would it stop him from being Saul now?Ordinary Joel, DKC, Mothrfckr and 3 others like this. -

Gotta wonder what we’re gonna get here seeing as we’re firmly in the BB timeline. Mike and Gus’ crew behind the scenes before and during the Heisenberg era, Saul behind the scenes while he reps Walt and Jesse. Kinda think Walt and Jesse will be in more than just a scene now, we’ll see -

How does that convo in the writer’s room even go??
“Lots of important things to wrap up here: Lalo and the cartel, the aftermath of Howard’s death, the end of Kim’s arc, the final death of Jimmy McGill…”
“We sure they know Gus is gay?”

It wasn't so much the way he died that bothered me. I mean he should have had a crazy ending, but I get not every character will get one, so I can deal with that. What bothered me was that he knew Gus would go to the Laundromat, was able to get in there undetected, and the guard just happened to not be at his station as he broke in, stopped a fan without making any noise, and slipped in then took out every guard. I would never complain about this on most other shows, but the writing for breaking bad universe has been so good you expect more from the story. It just felt like they were rushing the Lalo storyline after slowly building him up to what he became. So hopefully that means they did that because what's coming up will be crazierLast edited: Jul 12, 2022asvdawg, The Mandalorian, Ordinary Joel and 3 others like this. -

Yeah it sucks to see Lalo go but there was only so much more they could do when we know he doesn’t end up winning against Gus. Overall it’s hard not to be a little letdown with how it all went down but it was still a good ep imoLast edited: Jul 12, 2022Ordinary Joel, Detroit24, Mothrfckr and 3 others like this. -

Yeah the most likely scenario is just that he dies and Jimmy doesn’t know. For him to be alive during BB but not be involved in any of the cartel stuff doesn’t make any senseDKC, asvdawg, Ordinary Joel and 3 others like this. -

^ This is correct. Saul implies that Lalo is still alive, which means he thinks he is, but he doesn't know. That means he got away (probably not since we never hear about him ever again on BB ) or that he dies and only Gus/Mike know what happens to his body. I would bet that he dies and goes out in a big way like Gus didLast edited: May 24, 2022DKC, asvdawg, Ordinary Joel and 3 others like this. -

This made me remember the death of hank. Made me hate Jimmy and Kim.
If i have to bet...
- Lalo gets killed by Gustavo.
- Kim dissapears with the vaccum cleaner guy.

This is still, easily, my favorite show of all time.
But those last few episodes have been a snoozefest. Especially for a final season. I truly don't care about the Howard plan. I'm assuming it will result in a huge altercation that causes Kim's exit... but Lalo and the cartel are way more entertaining and important. The Germany plot really bothers me too.
I wouldn't have a problem with any of this, but there are only 7 episodes left.
