Jul 28, 2022 Rewatched El Camino and even more down on it, than I was before on it. Ending was good but rest of it really does fall flat. Fat Todd and Jesse putting a load of weight on, also really takes me out of it. Least be in shape from the previous roles that take straight after BB, pretty lazy on their part for who I both consider good actors.. Especially Jesse as at least you can meme Todd and is a side character. I think a short movie/episode would have done Jesses conclusion much more better.
Jul 28, 2022 Yeah El Camino doesn’t hold up very well, idk if they knew Better Call Saul was coming at the time but they definitely could have worked Jesse’s ending into the show better. El Camino plays much more like a rushed, bad movie than it does an episode in the BB/BCS universe

Jul 28, 2022 Ya, looking back El Camino could have been blended with BCS ending instead of a full movie but I'm still happy with the movie overall. It was pretty much just Fat Todd that ruins it for me

Jul 30, 2022 Just re-watched all the opening scenes of Gene. If anyone hasn't done this, i'd highly recommend it in the run up to the final 3 episodes. That recasting of Jeff is ridiculous though. I wonder if they'll ever go back and reshoot the Season 5 scene with Jeff and Gene in the mall.
Jul 30, 2022 “Breaking Bad” title for next episode is a switch and bait I reckon. Next episode after that is directed and written by Vince which I think will be cameo time of the BB characters and involve the BB timeline.

I get that they're building up to why he's treating this guy with cancer like an a------ since he knows he's the one who gave Walt a chance due to his illness. The Kim call was interesting since we don't know if he even talked to her. Only 2 eps left
Aug 1, 2022 eh they're trying to imply that but I don't think he'll get caught like that if he gets caught at all. Thinking if the cops do actually roll up on him maybe it's because he had another panic attack and passed out? I don't think this is the last we've seen of Kim either
