    He's managing to sound fresh again now just purely from relaxing his tone and nothing else. Plus new little rhythms, just insanely complex.

    I hope the good feedback remains so he keeps this style and pray to god he keeps it up for his whole album, just like Kamikaze & MTBMB styles - that's why they sound cohesive, other than production, is because he keeps the same tonality...

    I dont' know why he didn't understand that with MMLP2 and Revival. But you can't be rapping like this one minute and 'So Much Better' the next.

    I dont think this song was meant to be a musical masterpiece. Its literally called a cypher, which is always (to me at least) fun to hear them show their skills once and then never listen again.

    oh ya shout out @awhellno and @skip and @Ordinary Joel too - we have so much talent dsicovering and discussing new artists here, i wish we'd let the stans have their lane, while also having a separate lane for new, underground artists. who was the canadian poster who just wrote for complex? we need a Writers section, make it a real community

    I’m flattered. But man, can’t hold a candle to @Sav Stanfield. The amount of work he puts into his music thoughts and whatnot have sooooo much effort. He’s such a staple on here. I love that dude, always teaching us new s--- imo.

    No I’m not disparaging Cuntry - But this game that gets played every time boils down to most stans here will like the verse, then more “sophisticated” rap fans will dunk on them. It’s just trite, let people be enthusiastic. Or level a measured critique besides like “god fuckkkk offff”

    Right agreed. It’s fine! Boring to me, personally, idc about it rly but it’s a fun song and he doesn’t embarrass himself
