Great read for Monster and great choice. Hit me with that mention.
Also, I'd like to add, what BC touched on in that Monster review is what a lot of people don't take away from Future. They think he just makes "catchy" music but they are so wrong. A lot more depth behind his music than the average listener hears.Mike Tyson, Lil Squeed, Ordinary Joel and 2 others like this. -

I have a Kanye album as my favorite of all-time as well, Yeezus took me awhile to really embrace actually. While I'm not the biggest fan of it I think it further adds on to Kanye's legacy on how he managed to add such a unique album in his discography of phenomenal records and still keep his artistic integrity intact, each one tells one h--- of a story.Maad City, Michael Myers, Ordinary Joel and 1 other person like this. -

Was not expecting Reasonable Doubt. Really glad to see it. Last album has to be Kanye. Low key hoping it's OutKast lol.
Saw a couple people putting lists and it got me wanting to post my own. It's tougher than expected cause I'm leaving out a lot of albums I really love. Pretty generic list I think, besides Section .80. There's just something about it that I love so much.
1. Kendrick Lamar - Section .80
2. OutKast - ATLiens (nostalgia is the reason I choose it over Aquimini)
3. DMX - It's Dark and h--- is Hot
4. Nas - Illmatic (I really really wanted to put It Was Written but Illmatic is just so great)
5. Beastie Boys - Licensed To Ill
6. GZA - Liquid Swords
7. Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt
8. 2 Pac - All Eyez On Me
9. The Game - The Documentary
10. Big L - Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & DangerousOrdinary Joel, Narsh, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and 1 other person like this. -

I was late on reasonable doubt. Like I knew about it and even held it in high regard cus i loved jay but for some reason I had never listened to it outside of a couple songs.
When I finally sat down and decided to play it front to back that took jay to a whole notha level for me. He was at another level of rapping. Idk if itd be my top 10 but I get why it's in yours. Nice pickNav Bhatia, marmin shkreli, DKC and 1 other person like this. -

Haha ayyyy. Everyone was guessing GKMC but I knew the truth on the low.Really glad S.80 made the list. As embarrassing as this is, it's my favorite album of all time. Just love so much about the album: the time I in my life I listened to it, how I found out about it, the nostalgic vibe, and everything that actually has to do with the project. I don't enjoy No Make-Up as much as I first did but I still love it.
Didn't expect PiƱata to make it. It's f---ing fantastic and I agree about Real 110%. Easily my favorite song on the project. Shadow of a Doubt keeps growing on me. I MIGHT prefer it out of the two. Gibbs is just that n-----.
Midnight Marauders is another great choice. When I first listened to it about 2 years ago, I was surprised at how well it held up. The album still sounds fresh and has a timeless vibe to it.DKC, Ordinary Joel, Narsh and 1 other person like this. -
