    I'm kind of the same way. I feel like my attention span with music is complete s---. I'll listen to a song a hundred times and still won't know all the lyrics cause all I'll do is vibe to it and not really care for the words. If a song doesn't appeal to me sonically, I usually won't care for it.

    I'm not an Aesop Rock fan myself. I can't get into that style of rap either. I liked a few of his tracks in early high school but I grew out of that. As far as Liquid Swords goes, again, it's a love I can't really explain.

    Idk Gza's flow/delivery is god awful and his lyrics are similar to aesop rocks where r-----s like me can't understand them lol.

    I like to enjoy my music instead of having to focus all my attention to even understand what their saying.

    the production tight though, Cold world >>>>

    Haha you're trippin fam. But do you really think so? What don't you like about it? A lot of the reason I like it (like most of these albums) is for nostalgic reasons. I was like 16 and it was like nothing I had ever heard before. Raw, rugged, and crazy a--- lyricism. Imo, the whole atmosphere of the album is dope af and without any filler.

    honestly, HHNF is easily one of the best albums of all time, one of the few albums I can say that don't have a mediocre moment on it

    good pick, @BigCountry

    reasonable doubt has one of the best halves of any hip hop album. those first 8 songs are incredible. don't get me wrong, the other part of the album is good too, but the first half is mind-blowing impressive. i think my favorite song on that album is D Evil's
    i also enjoyed your little story---except for the fact that you and your friends like miller high life :scust:

    @Perry The Platypus @TimmyT yeah this list is kinda funny in that I was trying not to be objective and when I write about music it's usually the other way around. I was trying to go for the pure, personal enjoyment factor/what the albums meant to me at different points in my life as criteria and just used the one artist rule as a qualifier so it was more diverse/interesting.

    Correct, one from each decade left!
