Jun 23, 2016 So Pac isn't on the list but a cheesy wannabe Pac with far less influence and classic songs is? Lists like this are pointless to discuss and argue really but I'd like to know their logic behind that one.
Jun 23, 2016 Real top 5: 1. Eminem 2. Outkast 3. Dr. Dre 4. Beastie Boys 5. Lauryn Hill If we're taking away "influential and legacy" and just by being the actual best.
Jun 23, 2016 Coming from a huge Beastie Boys fan here, but exchanging influence for "actually being the best" completely works against them. That's why they're so good...because of their influence and experimentation and what they did for the genre. None of them are really great rappers. That goes for Dre, too.
Jun 23, 2016 LOL Not even the 3rd greatest white blonde haired rapper with a movie and Mariah Carey fetish born in 1928 Foh
Jun 24, 2016 Now please dont go on making a thread comparing em to thug. That's just absurd tbh. Thanks
Jun 24, 2016 Taking away "influence and legacy" just leaves Dre with narrating other people's s---. He's not a top 5 rapper by any stretch.
Jun 29, 2016 The problem with non Eminem fans is they get not only upset but act surprised by these type of things. Rather than just accepting most people love Eminem's music and think he is a music icon and is the greatest hip hop song writer and artist ever. It's simple he is the most successful the numbers speak for them self as do all the Grammy awards It's like not being a Beatles fan u have to accept u are in the minority U don't have to like Eminem's music or think his music is the best that is fine but if u don't u just have to accept u are in the minority
