Aug 21, 2016 No its not. It's his album. Mastered. All new. But songs aren't from the aftermath days Maybe 1 or 2 but no dre beats as far as I can tell. Bishop didn't need dre beats.this album is killer
Aug 21, 2016 Here We Go Again is the only real weak link on here for me. I'd ditch that in favour of Go Time in a second. I can't find a decent quality version of Go Time anywhere though. Bishop scrubbed it from the internet to rework it. I hope he follows through on that.
Aug 21, 2016 He has a song with Chino XL that he needs to drop too! He put out a song with Mark Batson yesterday
Aug 21, 2016 The collab with the lead singer of Seether was surprising, but then again Bishops worked with John Mayer & Crazy Town so any things possible
Aug 23, 2016 The intro for s---t em up is hilarious. Khalil kills this beat too. This is def very reminiscent of his great projects like confessional, n---- noise,a and pope mobile.
Aug 24, 2016 Looking at All the features I was kinda disappointed but most of them are just on hooks and I'm fine with that. On songs that do feature artists rapping bishop graces us with 2 verses. This album is really good.
Aug 24, 2016 Not sure if I've ever published this here: I spoke with Bishop Lamont on my college radio show. It's probably been a ~decade but just shows how long this guy has been in limbo. He was rly Kendrick before Kendricm imo, in some ways. Anyways, I posted this on RB back in the day. Some of you may enjoy. (keep in mind i was a boy then, now im a man) @Michael Myers @831's Finest @eddie313 @M Solo @Detroit24 @WPG @game time67 @Coco @Zeugma @the lyricvore @yippekiyay @neomerge (hows ur gf btw) @Raziel @jewtheiii @YaBoyTr @soul intent

Aug 24, 2016 Pretty cool, just curious though, did he give off the homophobic-preacher vibe he gives off in some of his songs?
Aug 24, 2016 Unfortunately he really did end up being Hittman in quicksand. I still stand by my statement that the music he made pre-2009 is far better than anything Kendrick has made. He's a cool guy though back when I was a d-ck rider on Twitter he followed me back and answered a lot of my DMs. His song U Ain't Fresh was going to be the 2006-2009 version of Detox's first single.
Aug 24, 2016 Whoa that's great Intel hadn't heard that about u ain't. Yeah man songs like grow up were rly dope. When I first heard Kendrick TBH he gave me a bishop vibe. Obviously he has his own lane entirely which almost makes bishop the more fitting dre apprentice. Was sad he never blew up rly at all... Especially since clearly he was responsive to fans like us
Aug 25, 2016 some of those tracks on Dre beats were fire...im looking forward to hear him on DJ Khalil beats...he's had some nice tracks on those beats too... I think the problem being associated with Dre creates soooo much hype, that if he doesn't fully co-sign you it could ruin your career...especially when you are still an up and coming artist...once Dre doesn't return your phone calls or release your tracks your damaged goods.... Waiting to eventually hear all the unreleased tracks Dr.Dre has with so many of his previous artists lol Detox must have 40-80 completed tracks with all these artists
