    I'd argue Blonde is a masterpiece as well, and it's not a hard argument to make.

    Even if it is as you say where Blonde is a 9/10 and MBDTF, I don't think that's a league of separation like you said earlier.

    They're in the same elite teir for me.

    I guess because i consider MBDTF flawless and consider some parts of Blonde to be problematic, it sets them leagues apart, at least in my mind

    The more you listen to Blonde the more you'll like it I think. Happened to me too, I thought the album was good, then great, and now excellent.

    I don't think this was ever a thing with MBDTF, it was just a masterpiece right away, so that puts it above Blonde to me. Both masterpieces though

    That's like saying you can judge a movie based off trailers. Just because we heard about half of it before it was released and sequenced doesn't take away from how grandiose the project is, and how flawless it was on first listen. That album was an experience from Kanye getting exiled to the Good Friday tracks. Nothing got stale. With Blonde the whole lead up was botched.

    Do you realize what you're arguing?

    Who cares what the roll out was like on both albums? You said that MBDTF was instantly a classic, and I'm telling you that given that half of the album had already been heard prior to its release, MBDTF was easier to digest on day one.

    And I haven't even started with your flawed reasoning that if an album is better on first spin, then it's ultimately better.
