    It might have something to do with the rumours that it had an experimental sound so it's kind of throwing me off. I was expecting it to be like Endless (a little more experimental tho) but just for the songs to have more of a wholesome feel. Probably shouldn't throw myself in the deep end yet as I haven't listened enough. I'm just gonna forget trying to work it out/put it in a box now tho cause we've finally got a new Frank Ocean album. Just gonna listen and enjoy.

    ehhh i could kinda see this argument if the rest of the album was more like nikes but he pretty much abandons that left-field sound by pink + white

    I enjoy his music, but I've never been the biggest Frank fan (or R&B in general). Definitely a great album, but lacks replayability for me. I listened to it a couple times this weekend and had to switch it up.

    I won't listen to Blonde as much as I did Beauty Behind the Madness, so there's that.

    Nikes, Nights, and Self Control are wonderful

    I won't talk to music critics about anything anymore, especially posts I definitely consider to be click bait material. I like/agree with a lot of s--- you post, and I would argue I can definitely have discussions about opposing views.

    this doesn't really make sense. why not? when is a blanket statement like that helpful or accurate?
    setting aside the question of how a single post can be "click bait material," why--only hours after an album comes out--do you become so entrenched in your beliefs that instead of accepting that others may disagree with you, you leap through seventeen intellectual hoops to decide other people must be...feigning their own opinions? what? bro? lol
    maybe you can, but this thread has been a strong argument to the contrary.

    im outside now on my laptop sitting by the pool at the property i manage... im willing to bet i have more in my life then some guy that spends his all his time analyzing every detail of an album.. like do you even take the time to enjoy the music? do you think your special cause you wrote a half assed review for a irrelevant company? also there is nothing even on the front page about your review so im willing to bet the only people who read it are people you gave the link to.

    yes........i...... am.... my point is that if your review is worthless. they literally got articles about being allergic to weed on the front page but your review is hidden for a reason. im not even trying to hate but you need to get off your high horse.. your review wasn't even good. i literally learned nothing about the album. why did you rush this for when it was for playboy?
