I think 2015 is a step in the right direction. Tbh he's just worn out his welcome, if he dropped the Eminem show tomorrow it would still get immense hate. His style isn't what fans want anymore and his struggle to adapt to that has led to blunders (see shady xv). What most people think is him changing is probably 50% that their tastes have changed. No one actually likes good rappers anymore. Skill means nothing to half of raps fans these days.. It's all sonic abilities that matter to them. Eminem to this day would rap circles around 95 percent of the artists out right now, but since it isn't his lane to make a club b-----r he's not as popular/well received. The state of rap as whole is entirely different from the 1999-2004 region Eminem owned

eminems flow is not natural or smooth anymore
and content is an issue but with a career like his i can
see why hes ran out and is choosing technical skill over
    substance
his voice did change , hearing him do the slim shady voice
makes me cringe, he is trying hard to be what he was instead
    of moving forward.

I think the biggest problem is Eminem has been taking some steps to right direction since Relapse which released in 2009. 6 years. People said Recovery was a step to right direction for Em as he ran them accents to the ground. Then Bad Meets Evil EP which had The Reunion track it was a good step as people thought his delivery was more like what it used to be. Then We had MMLP 2 which was a step to right direction because he was rapping like he used to do in his prime and also unlike Recovery he has his own great hooks. Now after Shady XV and Southpaw Soundtrack and Medicine Man verse people still sayin' it's step in the right direction. What's the right direction tho ? The guy has taken millions of steps and still on the road lol wtf. I'm telling you even if Eminem gives us another The Eminem Show people will start to bitching about it after few months cuz it's the way it is now..

He can change. This has certainly been one of his worst periods though. If he can capture a good concept for another solo album then I have faith.

It's not just about how good an album can be, he also needs to completely change his style and revert back to what he did before

Everyone can change. He switches it up with every album. I mean, I haven't enjoyed his new albums as much as I did his first 4, but I can't knock the man when it comes to constantly changing his delivery. His style is generally the same as it always was,
    1. Inspiration tracks (Lose Yourself, SFTM, TIC, Not Afraid, Phenomenal, KND)
    2. Shock Rap (he doesn't do it as much now)
    3. Brooding Rage filled tracks about his life and past (The Way I Am, Rhyme Or Reason)
His next album will surely be different than the last. But maybe he should aim for some different subject matter along with a new deliver and new producers (haven't enjoyed his production post hiatus tbh- With exceptions)
