    When I lived in Bellingham (20 min from Canadian border) the Costco was so overrun with Canadians that people started a petition to ban them from the Costco. :laff:

    s--- was impossible to navigate on the weekends but I can't blame yall for coming down for the cheaper prices. There was always like a 4:1 BC:WA plate ratio in the parking lot, it was madness.

    for what it's worth, i hear that edmonton's core of drafted players was a f---ing abysmal atmosphere--taylor hall refusing to stop texting between periods, nugent-hopkins bailing on practice when skating drills started, etc. but benoit puliot was a really good add last year, cam talbot is probably between the 8th and 12th best goalie in the league, and todd mclellan is a world-class coach. i don't think you guys are going to win this year, but you have actual reason to be optimistic, finally. i bet by 2017-18, the alberta teams are among the best in the league.

    Word Jeff Petry was making comments about how the Oilers locker room was divided in to cliques as well. Speaking from experience, it's hard to win when you're a 3 year vet on a team and you feel like an outsider.

    That's surprising about Nuge, dude seems like an upstanding guy. I've heard first hand accounts from Jordan Eberle about Hall f---ing girls and pocketing the condom though (no, flushing it down the toilet doesn't suffice). Dude is a weirdo, but a d--- good hockey player.

    Easiest way to spot the Canadian at Costco is to see who's buying 12 gallons of milk at once.

    Yeah, my ties with WA are deep, it's why I speak so fondly of the State. I got close family in Edmonds, Bellingham, and Everett. And one of my best friends is serving in the military right now, stationed in Tacoma.

    It's also why I follow the Seahawks, it's just unfortunate I was exposed to the sport when the Hawks started winning. f--- it though, I'll take the bandwagon stamp lmao.

    Lol I remember that a few years back. The Bellingham Costco is pretty legit but it's not even worth going down now cause of how s--- our Canadian dollar is.

    Eakins and Mac t were easily the worst things that could've happened to the oilers. They developed the cliques by announcing the "core" of the team. Everyone who wasn't in the core prolly felt like an outsider. I've already seen the change with those two outta here, saw yak and Hall hanging out the other day drinking water at the bar. I've never seen yak and hall together before

    the list goes on and on.. Maybe Talbot is 25-30th best. But he also played behind a top 5 D-core in the league. Edmonton is still a hurting team defensively. Sekera helps, but he's an extremely poor mans 1st pairing defenseman. He'll still get lit up like Scrivens, Fasth, or Dubnyk did.
