Hey y'all, so recently my music taste has been expanding a lot beyond just rap/hip-hop and I have been trying to search for new music that I can enjoy so I have decided that I am going to listen too all of the greatest albums of all time. I will be using this aggregated list https://www.besteveralbums.com/overall.php and this thread to document the entire process and give my thoughs on each peice of music. Many of these albums I have never listened to, while some I have before and will be giving them another shot. It would also be cool if some of y'all who have heard a particular album to give your thoughts and get a nice discussion going.

    1. Radiohead - OK Computer (1997)

So this is an ablum that I have tried to get into in the past but have never really been able to. This time around I listened to the remastered version that was released in 2017. There are a few songs that I really like. "Exit Music" is f---ing phenomenal, the slow dark build up to the orgasmic climax blew me away. "Karma Police" is also another standout, as its catchier and more accessible than the rest of the album even with its unique lyrics. However the majority of the tracks here don't do much for me. I will say, that the conceptual elements of this album are unbeatable. The themes present here are more relevant now than ever and will continue to be for years to come. I wish I could enjoy more of it, there's just something about lead singer Thom Yorke's voice that doesn't catch my ear right in the majority of Radiohead songs that I have heard. There aren't really any songs on here that I dislike per say, but I am just indifferent on most of them.

    Rating: 6/10
Favorite tracks: Exit Music (For a Film), Karma Police, Climbing Up the Walls
    Least favorite track: Airbag

Next Up: Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
