Jan 9, 2018 In Kanyes defense, he's way more consistent than Em... I was just giving an example. People take Eminems music really seriously though. If he has a corny line or whatever, it's the worst thing ever. Then again he's had good things and people blow it up like its the greatest thing ever (Bad Guy last verse). Don't get me wrong though, Eminem has been REALLY bad at times lol. More bad than good. But sometimes people hate on things a little too much and Idk it's just weird to me.
Jan 9, 2018 Basically this. Winter and Kon are right, and I just used Ye as an example who also has corny lines -his catalog s----s on eminems overal- but like you said the amount of hate he gets is just as dumb as the amount of dickriders sometimes.
Jan 9, 2018 I have the same issues with Kanye as I have with Em. Both post 2011 are borderline trash for me. Only thing that keeps me listening to them is because they some of my favorite artists, Kanye had a fantastic period from 2010-11. Last time I f----- heavily with an Em project was h--- the Sequel. They still can put out good music but it is always sprinkles surrounded by skippables. This verse is pure fire. Doesn't change anything though, Em still has issues with Beat selection, Hooks sucking (Either Poppy or himself killing any momentum) and mastering. If he were to start working on a new album right now and drop in a few months those issues would still exists. He seriously thinks Revival is good.
Jan 9, 2018 Em just been average to me for years. I don't think he's that bad but he hasn't been fun to listen to. Most his s--- has been just ok to me. Some great lines, some bad lines. But people go to extremes with him. That's not to say I've liked many things from him, but its not that drastic to me.
Jan 9, 2018 I listen like 1000 rappers. I don't have to like certain songs or artists. Young Thug for ex, I'll never like his music probably. very wack to me. Unlistenable. I like Eminem tho. Not much of a material to play in the car but I'm not only listenin' to music in car anyway. It's not poor. I can understand people not liking Em's music that's ok. There are people not loving anything by Eminem at all. That's all about tastes. Everybody has different one. BUT IF YOU SAY WHAT U SAY THEN, U SHOULDN'T BE HERE. How stupid it is to be here for u. Do I ever waste my time on Thug SXN to talk s--- about the songs ? h---, no I don't even listen to a song when he releases it unless somehow it ends up playin' somwhere I can hear at all. I think u are obsessed. I mean let it go. His flow was on point. Just because he has different flows then all the average rappers, it's not wack. If u don't like his flow don't listen to him. I barely listen Pac even though I think he is great just because I'm not much of a fan of his flows and s---.

That last minute was probably recorded in the past week or two, very likely a 2018 performance. At the very least it shows he really does still have it in him, no doubt about it now
Jan 9, 2018 Yeah but he's lucky because he isnt as big as Em. Em has to please the recovery fanbase along with the SSLP-TES fanbase. Should he be more consistent? Yes. But it's definitely harder to do what he has to than others. I'd rather be regarded like Em over Kanye but I'd rather be Kanye in terms of where I'm at with fans.

Jan 9, 2018 But that's Ems issue, he's trying to appease every aspect of his fans rather than making music for himself, while Kanye doesn't care. This verse is the first time in a while where it sounds like Em doesn't care what his fans want to hear and its refreshing.
