Jan 2, 2015 Chris Rock panders to his base. He wants people who live in Harlem and Bed-Stuy to think he only supports black East Coasters. His best friend is David Spade probably one of the whitest dudes ever. 90% of his business associates are white. Rock likes black comedians... You can tell by his stand up that he doesn't have very many white comedian influences. He's a Jay-Z and Prince Stan... I don't think he listens to very much music outside of that. And he likes to prove weird social phenomena... Like the fact if you say you don't like eminem a lot of people will get angry and want to fight you over it. Which basically doesn't really happen with any other artists except those who have developed a weird cult like following like Michael Jackson.
