Apr 27, 2015 Sound engineer here. Not artificially sped up except for that one part that he INTENDS it to be. s--- I could even rap this verse if I practised enough. There are faster rappers out there, it's not impossible. Of course he punches in LOADS, but that's normal. Nothing wrong with that. Stop hating.
Apr 27, 2015 not saying he didnt speed it up because parts of it he definitely did, its undeniable however that picture proves literally nothing, hes talking about how theres space where the volume is zero, that has nothing to do with speeding anything up it has to do with cutting out breaths and punch-ins. Also to isolate the vocals properly he would need the isolated vocals otherwise hes just filtering out frequencies which wouldnt tell you if it was sped up, also why would em be emailing techs people when tech doesnt speed up his vocals? people are making a huge deal over nothing its honestly more upsetting that he called this Worldwide Choppers 2 and didnt put any international emcees on the track EDIT: guess i should explain i went to school for audio engineering and professional recording arts so people dont think im just bullshitting

May 1, 2015 i just heard speedom again as I'm listening to special effects.. what i wanna know is if @Koolo understands or does not understand that the lines attackin' it like a dracula bite, jetpack in a backpack when I write are the lines that are sped up … the only lines i also want to know if he understands or does not understand that it was intentional.. not eminem "speeding it up on purpose to cheat hoping no one noticed on a song about speed" but intentional as in "its sped up in a cartoony manner on purpose as part of his sound effects like the brakes or the leveling up higher and higher noise" i noticed it immediately on my first listen ever and was like "oh thats lame" but never once thought he was hoping to cheat or something.. even if he couldn't spit that line fast enough and decided to speed it up to hide that.. he made it intentionally obvious and cartoony.. its eminem derp eminem has always had effects n s--- like this for humor and as i heard the song right now I'm rolling my eyes that koolo blindly made this thread like it was a groundbreaking secret he sped it up and we should feel ashamed i genuinely hope you reply @Koolo .. I'm really curious if this thread was a 'spur of the moment, fast reaction wtf thing without thinking about it' or if you actually think it was… a secret either way yes, eminem did use programs to speed up his verse on speedom.. that is a fact its your reaction I'm unsure about
Aug 29, 2015 He also made it in more than one take and cut out breaths completely cuz i learned the whole song and I have no time to breathe.I skip a word and use that space to beathe.It may be possible but i have pretty good breath control js. And if that one high pitch part was sped up,i dont feel it was necessary because that speed is attainable w/out effects.
