    Here we dont have that s--- so much. If someone wants to ruin their life by taking that crap, let them. Their problem. Dealers who actually hurt people etc should be shot of course but people who take it and ruin their own lives, dont see why we should waste time to them

    I'm almost certain it's because most posters here have probably never held a conversation with a transgender person in real life. That lack of interaction makes them out to be freaks. @Michael Myers thinks I'm just being elitist though so *shrug*

    I have this idea that when you die, since your conscious is completely gone, someone somewhere has to be as conscious of himself as you were of yourself. That consciousness continues as long as there is mankind. So when you die, someone else is going to say "me" in the same way you speak of yourself. Someone somewhere is going to get conscious and see the world with his eyes, think their thoughts, feel their feelings, in the same way you are aware of yourself now. Sort of like reincarnation, but it isn't you.

    Since consciousness is a product of the mind, when you die, there's always new minds and new consciousness that arises in those minds. Your consciousness is the same as mine. In the same way you are aware of yourself right now, someone 100 years from now is going to be as well.

    U keep changing the subject to people who actually changed their gender (which I already agreed with you).

    I just said you are either a boy or a girl no matter what you 'believe' and from this thread I'm not in the minority saying that

    You say "aware of yourself", isnt everyone aware of what they are? People will always have the same ideals on life and principles

    The same way you experience yourself through consciousness today, someone else is going to after you die. That awareness is essentially the same, just like a random farmer back in 1640. lived his whole life being aware of himself (had consciousness) in the same way you are now.

    "People keep asking if my kid is a boy or girl. Is it ok for me to call 'her' a girl or should I wait until 'she's' old enough to decide for 'herself'? Just don't want to offend anyone"

    I didn't answer it because it's a dumb question. Obviously we call babies "boy" or "girl" based on their sex. No one's feelings are being hurt by that.

    Well I think you're ignorant. My Trans friend doesn't like parents assigning gender roles to their kids at any age.

    One of my roommates in college came out as trans. Never ever ever would have guessed it and I knew nothing about the subject before that. I thought it was kinda bs before that mostly out of ignorance. I don't think it's something a lot of people encounter on a personal level outside of major cities, so I don't think it's that wild of an assumption to assume some people who have strong opinions against it have never been friends with or even had a conversation with someone who is transgendered. Not making any assumptions about you personally. I know you have a heart even through the shitposts and Gatorade bong haze. :coco:
