    You guys must think i'm like the biggest pokemon nerd and got tons of posters around my room lol. It's kinda like your first love though.... she's barely on your mind anymore but deep down you'll always love her and you'll always have a special connection :mjcry:

    I have platinum and black or white under my bed with my DS collecting dust. all these gifs have made me think about trying them out but all the pokemon are new ones i don't know.

    The new pokemon games are looking great (x&y) but I don't have a 3ds. I've played blue/red/yellow, gold/silver, ruby on my gb's and firered/soulsilver on emulator. Honestly, an open world pokemon rpg (solo or multiplayer whatever works) would be the best thing ever

    Obviously very basic and it'll need huge amounts of work to improve, not to mention that even the kanto region is actually huge, but imagine something like this, like a more cartoony skyrim. The problem is that nintendo won't push something like this, and keeps the games for the gba's and ds's, so it has to be done by fans, basically (it's ftp)

    Unfortunately one isn't happening any time soon, even with a WiiU console. Nintendo are playing it safe and keeping Pokemon for handhelds when really they should branch out and make the next game in the series for WiiU.

    My ultimate dream is for Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft to come together and say "You know what? f--- this divide. Let's create a HUGE open world Pokemon for our consoles and split the money equally. Let's pay back our fans for their years of loyal service."

    ... But it's a dream that will never come true

    Surely if an open world pokemon game looked great in previews and was marketed properly... it'd make a lot of money. Especially if it got good reviews and people liked it once it got released. Then the opportunity for sequel upon sequel opens up. This is bound to happen eventually... too much potential money to be made
