    All my real friends out East. smh...no real friends here. That's why I'm even moving out there. It would've taken me longer if I got there by myself

    Moving doesn't solve those blues I'm afraid. Sometimes you gotta make peace within yourself to see the changes you want. I've ran from issues most of my life and things didn't start changing until I made the effort

    I know how,that feels. I'm in a similar situation with my life. Lost my job to mass lay offs 3 months ago and I'm having trouble finding work. Thankfully I have an awesome gf who is taking care of the finances until I can get back on my feet but I'm having trouble accepting her help. I've always been able to handle my own business and now that I can't I'm not sure how to feel abot myself. Some days I want to move to Texas or Baton Rouge, h--- maybe even new Orleans in hopes of feeling liberated or like some weight has been lifted

    Jobs is another reason to move. The south is all industrial work...I want to pursue a career in voice acting and the East has more opportunities. So my plan is to school here..so when I move out there and try to grasp my dream I can take care of myself

    Yeah I hear that. I would love to pursue something that wasn't oilfield related but that's how ppl make the most money out here. It's hard moving on after nearly 10 years of doing that kind of work. I have no idea how to move on. It really depresses me a lot these days
