    Yesterday was one of the best days, ever. The atmosphere at Adelaide Oval for 'Showdown XXXIX" between Adelaide and Port Adelaide was f---ing unreal. 54k packed into the stadium and I was seated within enemy territory (I'm an Adelaide diehard). Every time there was a score or a tackle or a dubious call the crowd erupted, 'twas deafening!

    And it was a nail-biter of a victory for us. 116-113 and we nearly choked away the lead. It's the closest victory between the two respective sides in 19 years of rivalry. :mjcry:

    But we f---ing won! :westbrook:

    Here are the last two minutes of the game. I swear I nearly lost my voice from all the screaming/yelling/swearing/abusing I did throughout the day/evening.



    Best game ever.

    :clap:Congrats! I don't watch futbol (sp? I heard most people don't like it to be referred to as 'soccer') but I'm glad your team won ^__^

    ....Now that I think about it....I don't watch a lot of sports.....

    Nah not yet. I'll be going with a couple friends after test period :)

    I'm glad the motherfucking T-Rex is back (even if the Spino is cool, there's no substitute)

    It's been a very disappointing season for Port, we had so much hope as well. :emoji_slight_frown:

    It took us 3 quarters to finally turn up, we deserved to lose. But it was a fantastic game.

    Was good. Before the game itself I caught up with a high school friend I haven't seen in about a year which was good. Was planning on meeting a former SSO from school at the game but she couldn't get out of her members area at the ground so that didn't happen.

    Afterwards I just went home, worked on creating a mixtape for @MTY's mixtape club competition and watched an ep of Ushio to Tora.

    I had a very small circle of friends in hs. I still keep in contact with them through sports. My two friends who're like brothers to me - we're always in contact with one another to go hang out or whatever.
