    Have you ever considered that egotist is always used on the most publicly visible person but never on the most greedy ones?

    I consider Big Bankers egotists.. not an inspirational designer like Kanye. The media tries to focus as much on the bad with Kanye as they can, that's why they have people like you and me, believe he really is this giant monstruous egotist.

    It seems the only reason you are bothered by this, is that you don't want Kanye to give fuel to his haters. Sorta like how Jay-Z does it right?

    Wrong, Jay Z knows exactly that if it wasn't for Kanye, black people would be in an even worse position. No important black person is as vocal and unapolagetic as Kanye, and that benefits EVERYONE in the end.. even the creatives that look up to him.

    Geniuses are always misunderstood. Jay-Z is good as a rapper, but Kanye is setting an example for designers to be bold and expressive. I admire that and it is something that a lot of people feel very hostile about.

    This is getting ridiculous, I must be missing something because I can't see how racism is involved in this situation??

    Kanye is my favourite artist, but you have to accept that there are a lot of people that don't like him not only because of his ego but the fact that he comes up on every second post of their news feed with a ridiculous articles (medias fault). I'm saying 2 things here, People don't like his arrogance, self-obsession and him claiming to be a modern day Leonardo da Vinci (I on the other hand admire is determination to be the best). And the media are the ones that make him look like a bad person with their misinterpretations. I don't see why it's got to do with his race. (however, I could be missing something)
