If running wasn't so d--- boring I'd waste all my energy on that but I'd rather stay up all night/morning looking at a wall than that )):

Do you run on treadmill or?

Coz I'd assume running out and about would be more invigorating. @Nori is this true?

You really have to like it, I see that @Sith Lord is a gym guy. I can't spend more than 10 minutes doing weights lol, its personal preference I guess. I love running because it helps with my anxiety, and seeing my times/stamina increase only pushes me to do it even more.

Outside is definitely the way to go though, more fun and exciting.

The thing is I like running I enjoy it for the most part its not as if I'd ever shut it down if someone said "lets go for a few laps" or anything its just I lose interest in it way too fast for some reason. My stamina is great so I can run for awhile just never want to. Jealous of you that running is such a big hobby for you.

Yeah, I haven't done it in a month, I hurt my knee :mjcry:

I'm jealous of you too man, you look super fit. I look Ethiopian when I'm in top running form lol. Do you listen to music while you run? That's usually entertaining. Also the awareness keeps me focused lol, like trying not to get hit by cars when I'm crossing the road and s---. I used to go early in the mornings or late at night in the fall/winter and there was no one outside, it would motivate me even more.

f--- sorry to hear that! When are you gonna be able to start up again? Thanks man I appreciate it! Runners always look so fit. Yeah I do but even then it doesn't block out the feeling of "uh f--- come on just go for another 5" morning and late night runs seem so nice. I'm too much of a paranoid person to run through the city during the day thinking I'd face plant or knock some b---- over lol.

All good man, I got hurt in late March after my second half marathon. I had lost stability in my right knee and went to the doctor, I did 3 months of physical therapy in which I learned how important going to the gym was in order to prevent injury. I built up quad and calf muscle so I gained my stability back, but I still feel pain/soreness when I run for more than 3 milers. Used to do like 6 miles a day and then a 10 miler here and there. Physical therapist thinks I have runners knee which means my right knee isn't perfectly aligned, so when I run and the bones move the cartilage is getting rubbed on and irritated. I can fix that by just building more muscle which will straighten out the knee because of the tension. My doctor thinks it might be a tear in my meniscus though, my knee clicks so there's a chance it's tendinitis too. Right now I've just been going to the gym and using the treadmill for reverse walking for my quads and the elliptical for the rest of cardio, also the stationary bike to stretch out the knee. Then the calf extensions and leg press on top of that for the muscle. I really just wanna run again though. I had my MRI done last week finally so I should know this week. Im hoping it's a meniscus tear so I can get surgery and get it fixed. If it's runners knee then there's not much I can do other than keep going to the gym and running through the pain, if its tendinitis it's the same thing.

Man I'm sorry to hear all that again smh. It's f----- up how there's always something getting in the way and can never seem to just simply enjoy something you like doing a lot. At least you're taking all the right steps unlike most people. I'm sure most wouldn't bother seeing a doctor getting an MRI and would just run regardless of the pain or just drop it all together. I respect the h--- out of you for all that. Hopefully it all goes as good as it possibly can. Working out legs is a nightmare for me I end up looking like a new born learning how to walk for the next week after working out legs once. 10 miles a day is ridiculous by the way f---ing savage man.

Lmao, all my friends who work out always complain about leg day. I usually only do like 10 sets of 10 with like 60lbs, I can't put too much weight on it. Then I'll do some bridging and wall sits. How long have you been lifting for? I tried it freshman year of highschool and learned a little bit about nutrition along the way, that plays a huge role, crazy discipline. That's kinda why I like running too, I can eat pretty s-----y and still stay pretty fit as long as I keep up with it, but I'd like to get my diet in check. I know I can still improve a lot of I get my eating right. It'll definitely help when I get better, I'm trying to run at a sub 7 minute pace. I was at like 7-7:30 before I went down.
