    Anything you'd recommend me watching?

    I looked it up before asking you and it said this but decided to ask anyway...
    1. Film noir (/fɪlm nwɑr/; French pronunciation: [film nwaʁ]) is a cinematic term used primarily to describe stylish Hollywood crime dramas, particularly those that emphasize cynical attitudes and sexual motivations.
    I dunno I just thought hearing what it is to you would be interesting... Cause it doesn't seem to be something that has a real concrete definition.

    Actually it doesn't.. What it means to me, is that film noir's should have low key lighting, a femme fatale, and a hard boiled private detective in a grim situation, with trickery on both sides of the table, with the majority of the characters being corrupt.

    I think Noir's are a stylized art form of Old Hollywood, that will never be forgotten, and once you become a fan, you're hooked; and I've been a fan for years.. just been enjoying it more over the past couple of years.

    I can name hundreds of great Noir's.. but here is 6 that I recommend right off the bat..

    1. Double Indemnity
    2. The Maltese Falcon
    3. The Postman Always Rings Twice
    4. Detour
    5. Fallen Angel
    6. The Mob

    give those a watch, I guarantee you'll be hooked

    EDIT : almost forgot, Asphalt Jungle..sooo that's 7..lol
