Same here, he's my biggest idol as a footballer and a huge reason why I remained a Real fan for the rest of my lifetime (been supporting them since I was like 7, I saw us win Ucl #8)...Never actually did figure out which club you support now that I think about it

His goal in the final vs Leverkusen is the best goal I've ever seen I think.

Lol I don't support a team closely tbh. I always liked Liverpool because of their history but they always disappoint in recent memory (the Constantinople final is still one of the best matches ever though!). I like Arsenal because when they bring their a-game they're crazy fun to watch (and I still have a small sized Bergkamp jersey in blue/yellow from when I was a kid, I don't even know how I got it lol). This season I really liked Lyon because they have many young players, I've followed Freiburg a bit because of their youth academies and how they interact with the local community (I thought it was interesting and made a good story), Tottenham because of Eriksen and I want ajax to reach higher spots in the cl. Basically every saturday or sunday I go with 3 friends of mine who watched football a lot to a sports-cafe and watch whatever is on at that time (PL is the first choice, unless there's a good game between Real/Valencia/Barca/Atletico or something interesting from Bundesliga).

I've supported Arsenal my whole life but don't really watch football anymore. It's pretty tiring seeing Arsenal have nearly exactly the same results every single year (Although, we've been doing well in the FA cup the last couple of years but the FA cup doesn't mean s--- anymore). We finish 3rd/4th in the league every season and get to about the quarter final in the champions league. We might actually finish 2nd in the league this season, but knowing Arsenal, we'll somehow f----- it up lol. I still watch from time to time and keep track of results. I still think the science behind the game is very interesting. MMA is the only sport I consistently watch now though

I feel like I'm starting to see more and more people from the US become football fans. It''s pretty strange. @Fire Squad how is the MLS doing over there? Are you noticing more people becoming football fans?
