I feel for Leo, he's exhausted and his teammates are giving up as well. The defense has been holding up well on the 1v1s and occupying zones. Chile still got 2 subs left and that might determine what will happen.

Chile exaggerating the h--- out of these fouls now to waste time. They know that they can get a W in penalties.

Under normal circumstances this would have been a red card fest, these last couple of fouls have been malicious.

Messi hasn't been great w penalties recently himself. Wouldn't be surprised if he misses/gets blocked. Especially considering Bravo knows his tendencies from Barcelona.

I remember these Chileans from the 2007 sub-20 World Cup, I can't believe how far they've come.

As for Argie this is the 4th Copa America final I've seen them blow it, it's almost unexplainable for such a wonderful country that keeps pumping out world class players just can't win it. I don't think Leo will ever go back to Argentina at this point.

Messi, Aguero and Mascherano have officially retired from international football...

Paulo Dybala will be the one that'll break Argentina's curse when it comes to finals. They'll win something with him. That's my bold prediction.

Without masche and messi they really stand no chance of getting to a final. Team's like brazil and uraguay will be out of thier reach.

It's true that the likes of such players don't come every day, but they still got upcoming stars and Argentina is one of the best countries that produces talented footballers.

I really think and believe the retirement of those players will be a blessing for Argentina to break the curse. (Just like how Real Madrid couldn't win the Champions League with their galacticos (Ronaldo 9, Zidane, Beckham, Figo and Raul then came the next generation of players and they're dominating European football and have managed to win it twice in 3 years recently.) I wasn't surprised with the loss last night, they've been under a long lasting curse when it came to finals since 1993. I got my money on Paulo Dybala to be the one.

No, the upcoming gen of argentine players lacked the luck of era's that germany had or the philosophical unity of spain's 2010 side. where literally everyone played together or in the same clubs/leagues at the highest levels in europe for years. Modern football is less reliant on GOAT strikers like R9 and more dependent on tactical discipline and Miles worth of midfield grunt work (thomas mueller/Aturo vidal) if not techical divinity (Andres iniesta/Xavi). Argentina are decent, but frankly they lack anything special. Dybala is talented, but against france or germany, he has no hope of scoring. they will also lack the defensive solidy that masche provided. (the guy plays CB at barca, who else to play DM).
In the next world cup i dare dybala to score on iran.
