    My best friend was teaching in Spain for the year, obviously left quickly when the shut down occurred. Got his flight rerouted from Philly to JFK. When he landed he had to do all the testing and sign paperwork. Everyone was sharing pens for the paperwork lmao

    it’s cute that you guys think politics & a global pandemic aren’t related at all lol. Like.... we rely on governments to be able to address this crisis. In several countries now, governments have failed spectacularly.

    Tbph, I would kinda rather voluntarily get the virus now, self-quarantine for 2 weeks, and then not have to worry about being a carrier/vector thereafter.

    This is exactly the problem and reason they close down many facilities / bars etc. People feeling sick should stay at home but lot of people feel fine so they go to work and going out.. which is not a problem for fhem but for the people that get infected and might infect weaker people / infections on a large scale.
