    Been following Trump's presidency pretty close and was still surprised at what he said yesterday...unbeliveable. Complete f---in moron.

    It seems he said it as he was basically thinking of a 'theory' out loud, he's so delusional and full of himself he thinks he's a genius in every category so he tries to come up with this s--- probably thinking it'll somehow help..I can't believe Dr. Birx didn't inturupt him and speak up at that point, how can she be okay just sitting there? We saw how uncomfortable she looked.

    How anyone still supports this guy I have no clue. Millions watch those press briefings, even more see clips or read about it.. it's a tragedy if even a few people take his advice which I'm sure they will.

    Trump could've been removed months before all this if the republicans just had some balls and common sense.

    just because it *mostly* kills elderly (just like pretty much every other virus) doesn't mean it isn't deadly. a 15% death rate of people 70+ when people are living to be over 100 these days f---ing sucks. lol discarding the deaths of the elderly is asinine and disrespectful. my parents are closing in on their 60's.

    that's not to say that the media isn't hyping it up... but take a look at my previous calculations and tell me that it isn't actually "deadly" lol.

    In NZ, we hopefully transitioning to "level 2" next week, where pretty much all business will be back open. We had two days of no cases in a row, then just 1 or two cases the last few days that are linked previous known cases. We have effectively nearly eliminated the virus.

    Really proven that the "go hard and early" stratergy is much better for both saving lives and for the economy.

    30 million people filed for unemployment in the USA the past 6 weeks. THIRTY. MILLION. To put that into perspective...

    That's more than the population of Texas (the second most populous state in the USA).

    This is about 1.5x the population of New York state or the @The Shape third world foreign country, the Netherlands.

    This is like if @Koolo's or @Australia / @SHUDEYE / @Ordinary Joel's entire country was unemployed.

    As of Dec 2018 there were about 207 million people of working age (15-64). That's just shy of 15% unemployment, and that's counting teenagers who still live at home. Though I can't imagine how many families are relying on their kids' $7.25/hour paycheck bagging groceries to help pay the bills right now.

    This is f-----.

    I love how so many in the 'too stupid to understand what's going on' crowd seem to think we can just 'man up' and scare away this virus..

    When it's all said and done these idiots are gonna be responsible for extending the lockdown at least once, probably multiple times.
