Mar 22, 2020 Also they declared it a pandemic way too late. And you were making a fuss about Trump reaction. At least he swiftly declared travel ban from China in January. Our "leaders" in Europe did that in late Feburary/early March and we now have worse situation than China had "officialy".

The U.S. sat on its hands until late February/early March? There’s an entire process behind declaring outbreaks, pandemics, epidemics etc. & it’s not about the severity of the situation. It’s about where the disease is spreading. The U.S. & Europe shouldn’t have needed to wait for the WHO to declare a pandemic for them to finally take action. They are huge government entities with their own medical experts who, at least in the United States case, were telling the government to prep for a potential pandemic long before the WHO declared one. Trump brushed off all those warning & downplayed risks for over a month as the virus consumed China, Iran & Italy.
