I still like CS GO but Valve still prefer adding skins instead of fixing bugs with hitboxes, maps & weapons but eh, you'd love Rainbow Six Siege though, it's more destructible and more competitive compared to CS GO imo due to how heated the firefights are and how you have to plan more strategic defenses or offenses compared to CS GO where you have to throw a smoke or flash and rush it on maps like Dust 2

valve pretty much coined micro transactions and while i hate the whole idea of it, I can't really fault valve for their micro transactions
(apart from the fact they havent released a f---ing game in a decade and their next game is a dota 2 card game that nobody f---ing wants)
Dota2 / CS:GO have THE BEST micro-transaction system in any game ever. no matter how much money you spend you will never be at an advantage. it's all cosmetic.

(except autistic koreans that think a slightly more visible particle effect means it's easier to hit skills)

sounds like insurgency, Ill for sure check it out once I get a new pc

Yeah I feel bad for people who play games like star wars battlefront, not only is it pay 2 win but the f---ing game costs 60 dollars from the jump, 100 with all the dlc and people paying for better s--- lol f--- that. At most csgo is 15 which I appreciate, that's honestly the main reason playing on my computer more the games on steam are cheaper and with the sales they're amazing deals

I think a lot of that comes from the micro transaction hate meme. or it's pretty much a meme atm. People hear "loot box" and go "OMFG GAMING INDUSTRY RUINED ITS f----- FUCKEN TRASH GAME" and it's like if you actually look at Battlefront 2's loot system... yeah you can buy crates, but all the BEST cards/gear/upgrades come from ranking up the classes.

so for some meta power gaming c---- like myself, that means nothing because the "pro player meta" will be focused on stuff you can only unlock from class specific leveling.

so i guess pay2win doesn't really work here, but pay2get-an-advantage-over-some-players-during-your-first-5-hours-of-gametime deos apply.

Also, semi related. Seeing a pattern of game devs adding "cosmetic only micro transactions" but they are missing the biggest thing that made those things so succesful on steam - a market where you can trade/sell the cosmetics.

NBA 2k18 is the worst case of microtransactions I've ever seen.

CSGO is trash, I hate it. I used to be a god on CSS, source engine was amazing.

the biggest thing for me is that CSS was played by adults and CS:GO is played by russians, children that want skins, and the one-off normal dude.
