Should be posting a beat in here in a day or so from @LukeS80 for people to use, so check back if you're looking for beats to use for this. Anyone can record over it or collab with someone with over it if they'd like, but we'll only use the best submission. Also getting a full track from SectionEighty's very own @Deadpool too, so look forward to that on the tape.

@Ricky your curation talents are incredible! The flow, the interludes, the skits - its all perfect. I need to know who everyone is on these songs?? Whoevers rapping in Polish (i think?) is a f---ing beast. If you didn't tell me who Kohlton Seagrave was I would think that was literally an Eminem song. And I mean that in a good way. Zuegma and Boos interludes both dope af. Kali, FivOh, JulnHT, MichaelMad, PlayWrite all killed it. major to props to everyone, this was awesome.Ordinary Joel, pHiLLip fARkLe, gdot and 7 others like this.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

I know some people in here aren't being completely truthful and are clowning but I want you to know this is unironically one of my favorite projects I've heard this year and definitely your best work yet. I'm a huge Eminem fan and even throughout my critiques of him that'll never change, that being said I think you've found a way to one up the original.
The Prelude is a perfect tone setter with it's haunting atmosphere creating an uneasy feeling about what's to come and made me know that I was in for something special.
4 A.M. is the perfect continuation of the texture of the music while also doubling as a clever yet intricate sequel to the piece we all know and love, the song structure and performance prove to me that you've improved.
During Trials And Tribulations I truly knew this was going to be a trip I wish I could experience for the first time again, the beat mixed with the subject matter created an honest euphoria that I haven't gotten from a song in years.
The Reel was the first song I wasn't a fan of, it's not that it's bad at all but I grew up around a lot of mumble rap so I'm still relearning to not care as much about the beat but this wasn't my favorite. Lyrics are still incredible and song isn't bad at all I just need more listens.
The first thing I'll say about Pi is that the Alma feature is incredible and a personal favorite feature performance I've heard not only from this site but this year as a whole, but without a doubt the most impressive feat is that similar to Lateralus by Tool your syllables match up to the mathematical Fibonacci sequence which I found to be genius since the name of the song is another math based concept. I don't know if any of this was intentional but considering your love for the craft I wouldn't be surprised at all if this is part of the conceptual through line, definitely my favorite of the record.
Game Boy tugged my nostalgia strings on some things I love the most in a way that still fit the concept, I don't have much to say cause this song speaks for itself but I think it's the perfect way to mark the over halfway part of the album. Would've been my favorite if Pi wasn't on the project.
Ride For You (Remix) is an all out barfest and had me jumping up and down in a way that I never have before since hearing the best of back and forths in Bad Meets Evil songs, I think you and JMG have something special and it should be something y'all should develop so it could hopefully span an entire project.
Styles And Dedications felt like a deeply layered sequel to Trials And Tribulations, I find it interesting how this is on the second half and Trials is on the first half. it's divided by Pi which is the 5th track Trials is the 3rd track and this is the 8th what blew my mind here was that 3, 5, and 8 are respectively used as part of an example of the Fibonacci sequence. Probably my favorite beat of the project as well.
The Aftermath has another incredible Alma feat but I think I still enjoy their feature on Pi more but the voice is nothing to scoff at on either tracks. Very fun song altogether and very haunting.
And last but not least is the Taking My Ball (Remix) this is probably with The Reel as my least favorites, not because it's bad at all but because it feels the most derivative which is unfair of me to think of a remix. Even with that very personal gripe I still prefer it to the original and this has more compelling verses imo.
All in all I found the sequencing and concept of this album jawdropping and the imagery is even more intense and twisted yet comedic than the original all while keeping a similar syllable count on every song, definitely the best creative section album I've heard and I can't wait for your next work considering how much better you've gotten in such a short period of time. 9.8/10Last edited: Oct 24, 2022Yeez, Sign Language, CSW and 7 others like this. -

I finished pouring myself a captain on the rocks with a splash of Diet Pepsi and have now collected my thoughts. This right here is by far the most elegant and exquisite display of lyricism I have seen thus far on this here forum my good sir. It is incredible that you have such a keen ear for such intellectual word patterns, I must say that after a few listens I can comprehend the majority of your prison cell gate poles yet I find it genuinely hard to fathom how one could weave together such eccentric and enthusiastic visuals from the English language. I must say you certainly have tickled my fancy when showcasing such passion for the arts. I look forward to sitting down with some fine wine and delving deep with colleagues for the next listen of your future endeavors.
