Apr 15, 2017 Great work counselor @Koolo. Our efforts in the war on stanism is only beginning. We must continue to move forward and help those suffering from the illness. Today was a great victory in that battle. I haven't heard the album yet but god bless Kendrick for whatever he did to help.
Apr 15, 2017 Eminem is not as good as he used to be, of course - but when you consider just how good he actually was in his prime, that shouldn't come as a surprise A lot of people on here seem to exaggerate the extent to which his music has gotten worse; MMLP2 was a very solid album & that was the last proper bit of solo music we've had from him. Just remember the internet when Rap God came out, it made more waves than Kendrick is now Saying that, d---. is god d--- amazing. Kendrick is a such a unique artist. Genius. Would love to see a serious song (unlike with Love Game) with those 2 at their best
Apr 15, 2017 as a big em stan , em for sure fell off as an artist , he cant put a great album together anymore tho relapse is close to or great imo he feels now like he is just competing with himself as an mc , he is just flexing his muscles on the mic rhyme and wordplay wise the passion and the flame he had is long gone now and i just like to think he isnt in rap just for the money
Apr 15, 2017 can eminem go and compete against any rapper in the game bars wise ? yes easily can he makes another 9/10 album ? no he cant imo i think he doesnt know anymore what song of him is good and which is not thanks to the yes man around him i heard he had a lot of songs recorded for mmlp2 , werent there songs better than stiw ?
Apr 15, 2017 eminem won't for sure ya but paak dropped Malibu which i already consider a lot better than d--- and he's only gotten better i still listen to Malibu 3-4 times a week
Apr 15, 2017 everybody already knew Em isn't where he was in his prime. While I like MMLP2, it's not really good enough to end on. It's average. 6-7/10 at most. d--- is making me think that Em isn't trying hard enough to diversify himself. Try something new. because who knows, it might turn out great.
Apr 15, 2017 agreed, MMLP2 just felt like songs thrown together while d--- and everyone else out there making classics rn is putting together art that's cohesive throughout every song and it just fits well
Apr 15, 2017 true it's not that i don't know em is horrid nowadays but no other artist will get me as excited as i get for his new s---, not even ye
Apr 15, 2017 I know for a fact I will. s---t me a berzerk-like hook snippet and I'll be back in full stan mode 100%. can't even pretend.
Apr 15, 2017 He's shown glimpses of brilliance still which is frustrating. Obviously his technical ability & rhyming skills is above the rest, but songs like GOF & Fine Line are great imo. Especially both of their second verses; he combines great wordplay while flowing well It's songs like Right For Me that (understandably) put people off. It's impressive the way he can keep the same rhyme scheme and personally I think it's alright for a compilation album The songs on Southpaw aren't great though but I don't think he put much effort into them tbh
