    Sorry, not sampling issue-- a clearance issue. What's the difference. It's all false considering they just updated the mixtape with an Eminem intro. How do you explain that?


    And what do you mean they didn't use him?

    They tagged him and had him in the original promotional video, tagged him on twitter when mentioning the album. You can't deny this.

    D12 got caught with their pants down so they somehow got Eminem to record/send them an intro to somehow appease the fans.

    EDIT: By D12 I mean Kuniva, Swifty, and Bizarre's tribute band featuring Porter

    because they thought he would be on it. But the last week or so they hadn't mentioned him at all. And again, if they wanted to make a big deal about his involvment from the get go, they would have had has name in every promotion tweet and video and everything, but they didn't. They treated it as a casual thing he was on it which wouldn't make sense if they where lying about his involvment because if there where lying you would think they would want to make the most out of it.

    That's the thing...I'm not really salty. I was busy all day, and granted, I have looked forward to this for a week (that went by very quickly)...saw the revelation that Eminem wasn't on the tape and just avoided listening to it all together and hardly commented on it. The only reason I'm even talking about this mixtape is because I come to the thread and see Brandon blindly defending it for hours on end for no reason.

    How about this...from this point onward, I will refrain from commenting on the quality of music itself. More so the events surrounding it. Fair?

    We knew about the tape for how long again? Awhile...and they not once mentioned anything regarding the possibility that Eminem wasn't/wouldn't be on the tape...they did this on purpose. To build hype.

    Because they figured it was a done deal that his verse would stay, I am getting tired of saying this common sense idea but if they where going to lie, they would have profited as much as they could off that lie, which they didn't.

    No man, don't you know! They totally didn't bs the entire time! They weren't completely avoiding discussing if Eminem was on the project while simultaneously including him in the promotional video and tagging him in the tweets! They thought he would be on it, if not for the last minute clearance issues!

    :kdotrly: They're scumbags. This would be different if they had any weight to themselves as artists AT ALL. But they don't. They are literally nothing without Eminem and they know it...should've been upfront from the start.

    They weren't avoiding it, they just didn't make a big deal about it. Your really think a clearance issue relativity late in the process would be crazy? Plus I don't think they have mentioned him being on it for at least like 2 weeks:empalm::empalm::empalm::dead3:
