yea to me the people portraying the characters in flash just aren't appealing. when i started watching arrow it was like i immediately liked the actors/actresses playing the characters, i liked the characters, and i thought the story was really well done. every episode felt like it had purpose and you just wanted to see more. i felt the complete opposite watching a stand alone episode of the flash. i literally could have cared less whether i ever watched another episode and only kinda did cause of the cross over episodes cause i wanted to keep current with arrow.

i happen to like the majority of shows on the same network and am a big fan of comic book characters/movies so it's not like im trying to pick on the flash. i happen to like him as a superhero. the show just doesn't do anything for me. imo a real let down.

as far as smith...i hope you're right. i want nothing more than for the suicide squad to be great. i have no idea how the characters are going to interact, but it's been forever since i can remember a movie without smith being a focal point. im really hoping for the best.

I didn't even think about will not being the star, that's gonna be tricky, him sharing the limelight with others

And on the flash subject most people I know who don't like it is because the difference with the arrow being more gritty and dark and flash more happy and I can see the characters hard to get used to, just now thinking about it compared to the detail they put in the arrows backstory, it's a big difference

the back story for me is good and bad haha. i like that they took the time to delve into the background of characters people might not know...explains the who, what, and why. but now that arrow is almost into it's 4th season it's like enough is enough. sometimes i feel, now, that they spend time focusing on back stories when people just want the episode to progress...(still a phenomenal show).

for me it wasn't ever about getting used to the characters in the flash. it was more about i really don't like any of the people portraying them. i don't like the lead guy they picked to play the flash, i don't like the supporting cast nor the lead female role. none of them do anything for me. if any of them were in a movie not only would i not put it on my DL list, but i probably wouldn't even know it existed...that's how insignificant they are to me haha.

but i do agree with you...arrow has a darker tone (which i love) compared to the flash. and on the crossover episodes arrow just made the flash look like a chump...and it wasn't even close.

Is anyone else upset with the explanation on how Oliver was healed from the fight with Ra's? If he wasn't healed by the lazareth pit then its kinda bull s---.. Last week Ra's confirmed that it wasn't used on him which either means it was, and Ra's doesn't know it.. Or we have a bull s--- reason of why Oliver is still alive, his will power saved him from a sword to the chest, a 100 foot fall, and freezing weather on the side of a mountain for days.
I am really hoping the Asian dudes wife that healed him used the pit without telling Ra's..

I feel like the writers of the show wanted to save it for something else to come. That being said I think the Lazarus Pit will have a massive part in the episodes to come.
