Finally got around to watching both this weeks episodes. As always Flash has me more hyped than Arrow, but Arrow was still good. Nice to see the return of Ray in time for the crossover and the Legends spin-off. The Oliver/Felicity drama has me believing it could be her that dies... or that's what the show runners want you to think.

As for Flash they really made Zoom a more terrible thread than Reverse Flash. Each time I see him I think of Black Flash, a speedster who fulfills the role of Death for those who possess super-speed, returning them to the source of their powers: the Speed Force.

Enjoyed both episodes. Excited for Flash tonight. If I had a critique for Arrow it would be that I miss the tone of Season 1. It was much darker (Does anyone remember the doll guy? s--- was horrifying), and the quality of writing was leaps ahead of S3-S4, in plot and dialog. It still had the CW melodrama but that's a given, and there was less of it. I'd like to see both shows move to Daredevils structure. 13-16 episodes, one tight continuous plot that builds upon characters and previous seasons. A bigger budget would also be great

My idea for a 5th season would be a political thriller/crime drama. Focus on Oliver as mayor, balancing being Green Arrow. Dive into the dirty arena of politics, build suspense with a tone similar to House of Cards, TDK, and The Godfather. I'd like to see them go back to basics. Break down the whole team, shake Oliver to his core. By the end of the season I would love to see it just be Dig and Oliver up against a threat they've never seen. Right now I think a problem the show has is that there are to many Heroes on Team Arrow. Season 1, the show was narrated by Oliver and was focused on him. We got to have a peak into his head and saw a tormented man trying to make right the wrongs his family had committed, save his city, and deal with 5 years of psychological baggage after having been stranded on an island and being forced to k--- and torture and be tortured in return. That's some really dark subject matter and the show was dark because of it. But after S1/2, the show (IMO) failed to progress. For the last 3 seasons The overarching plot seems to have been the same thing. They even recycle the same themes and situations, an example of that would be when a character lies to another, the second character gets mad, and then they reverse the situation. How many times can these people lie to eachother? And when will they learn better communication skills? But that's just my take on it. I have high hopes for S4 of Arrow and I'm really enjoying the flash.

I have a feeling Zoom is definitely either earth 2 versions Barry or Barry's dad and I think the person who dies might be Diggle or Felicity (someone of importance to Oliver than Barry although Barry did show up)

and i hate team arrow so much. they should just change the name of the show to Team Arrow. anyone else miss when it was just Oliver as the lead, Diggle for back up and Felicity as the brain? Speedy and Laurel just make it over the top
